800lbs on the Hatfield Squat. 440lbs bench this week. I've done 800lbs on the Lever Squat so... 380kg/836lbs?

Thursday
Maxed out (like to the stops lol) the gym scale. Was a little damp from the rain I'd been in walking down so... home scale said 336lbs. Even though it was still tough and I got a great pump I was holding back a little to set me up for tomorrows max bench session. Currently, to the best of my knowledge, the best bench in my local gym is 205kg/451lbs by Shay

Any sleep apnea issues as you move further up the scale in weight ?
100% Ever since I got past 280 a few years ago plus I'm older and that's an issue too. I wake when I turn over. The key is 'am I rested'? Usually yes.

At times pre event (like todays Bench max) anxiety can cause sleep issues but perversely I take that as a sign I want it badly

Yes. It's not a Saxon bar hold. Pedantry aside a hold is a lift then hold for time and works endurance. Mine was a lift. Same as a deadlift plus fingers must NOT be hooked underneath (I've seen this done and it's wrong). Over the top pinch style grip only. There ARE different sized bars - 2 x 4 for example. Compare like with like only. There's a US based fed which competes at the Arnold and they use a 3-inch by 3-inch and that's where I got the 132.5kg record
