I'd agree with you if I was able to see the future when I first came into training. It never occurred to me that I'd end up doing what I do.Ooooft! What a log. That's some plates!
Equally it's a little added over a long period of time. When you do the percentages the bigger numbers are, at the most, 5-10% more than before. And it's just a small mental shift to think a little 'bigger'.
Heck, I'll go as far as saying that SOME (many don't want to be that big, strong etc... but some do) hold themselves back by almost being scared of it. Almost (we touched on this on one show) 'a fear of success'. Finally the internet shows us all pics etc of people WAY bigger and stronger. 100's if not 1000's of them lol. That 'normalizes' it somewhat. I'm not looking to stay 336-340lbs. It'll be temporary
