None of those things you mention have the ability to bring LDL down 50%, which is basically where he should be. I think I am literally the only person on here who reads actual research. They are all fine products, but they make extremely marginal differences. Psyllium husk, which is fiber, lowers LDL about 5%. Fish oil lowers triglycerides, but not LDL. N2Guard has 300 mg red yeast rice, but that is only about one sixth the amount he needs. Any other questions?
As I said, red yeast rice is the first choice, but if that doesn’t do it, a statin would be next.
