Approved Log My 1st cycle log

This was yesterday's workout, sorry I forgot to post it

Slept 8hrs

Pull day

Back and bicep workout

Barbell rows
Set 1, 60kg, 15 reps
Set 2, 70kg, 15 reps
Set 3-4, 80kg, 10 reps

lat pulldown machine
Set 1 - 4, weight stack 14, 12 reps

Reverse pec dec
Set 1 - 4, weight 52.5, 15 reps

Straight bar pull down
Set 1 - 4, weight stack 10, 15 reps

Bicep ezy curl

Set 1 - 3, 25kg, 15 reps

Standing Hammer curls
Set 1 - 3, 16kg, 15 reps

Seated wide bicep curls
Set 1 - 3, 12kg, 12 reps


today is leg day, so should be good fun yet sore hahaha

Trained with a work mate, and pushed me to go heavier on most my exercises,

since ill be doing 2 legz a week now i think i might do 1 super heavy session then later in the week to do a lighter session but we will see


Leg workout

Leg press
Warm up, 150kg 20 reps
Set 1, 200kg, 8 reps,
Set 2, 230kg, 8 reps
Set 3, 250kg, 8 reps
Set 4, 290kg, 8 reps, absolutely dead
Set 5, 220kg, 11 reps, tried for a few more but legs couldn't haha

Dumbbell lunges walking
Set 1 - 4, 20kg, 20 reps

Leg extension
Set 1 - 4, 68kg, 15 reps,

Laying down hamstring curl
Set 1 - 5, 58kg, 15 reps
@codezz very good volume but you think you can pump out more leg press reps?

If i could of man, I would of, I did go up in weight for this, normally I dnt go as heavy but I am definitely feeling to Doms today

DOMS means you went all out :D

Bit slack on the updates this week guys,

Sorry about that,

Had a couple or rest days as this week I'm filling in Supervisor at work and we getting close to running out of product so doing alot of work trying to secure more loads and its just mentally draining me, and then the last 2 nights after work they threw 2 party's up here

1 was for the 5 million ounce party and the other was a training session for drill and blast seminar, should of taken some photos of the food as there was a heap of smoked meats there

But non the less the body is well rested, sleep is lacking but it's still getting done about 6 hours on average, not the best but ill get more in the next few days, no chance to have naps unfortunately

But anyway, it's Legs tonight, gonna go hard and heavy to punish myself

Set 2, 210kg, 15 reps
Set 3, 250kg, 10 reps
Set 4, 290kg, 8 reps, now to taper back down
Set 5, 250kg, 10 reps
Set 6, 210kg, 8 reps, im slowly dying
Set 7, 170kg, 8 reps


Hack squat machine
Set 1 - 4, Body weight, super slow, 15 reps


Leg extension
Set 1 - 4, 68kg, 15 reps,


Laying down hamstring curl
Set 1 - 5, 61kg, 15 reps


Seated calf raise machine
Set 1 - 4, 40kg, 15 reps


Getting up from dinner was hard, legs feel super heavy, and i know what I'm in for over the next few days, dreading the doms coming hahaha

Hopefully, you got paid more money for your hard work.
 
Try and push the sleep more consistent over 7 hours.8 hours would be ideal.
 
Hack squat is a great exercise.

And leg extension is very underrated.
