yeah it might be uncomfortable but who cares. watch sports on tv. these guys are uncomfortable and putting their bodies through the grinder every play. but they deal with it cause they push themselves
your issue is you aren't pushing yourself enough. you have trained your body to be too complacent and your body has no reason to improve. its the same logic as 500 years ago where only royalty were fat. cause all they did was sit on their asses eating and didn't have to lift a finger. peasants who worked the lands were skinny cause they got just enough food that they really needed and were doing heavy labor all day. you are living like royalty, you eat what you want when you want. and thats why you can't lose that extra tire. as simple as that.
