In 2014-15 I had a hard and long time on losing weight. In a year, I lost 78lbs. Two things made my metabolism drop a lot: very low carb, and fasting. My nutritionist had a maquine to check the metabolism through indirect calorimetry. The metabolism dropped around 20% after low carb and fasting. There are other reasons as well. Strict diets raise your estradiol due to the stress.You really need to implement some fasting as well.
