Ok I finally found time to right down my log..lol, I’m retired since 6 months but it seems that the more free time you have the less you actually have ..anyways..

By the way I’m a French canadien dude so sorry for all the mistakes you will read in my text..I will try my best…

A little about me,I’m 58 years old(59 in may) I moved to the Philippines in last October so around 6 months ago like I said I’m newly retired

I’ve been training pretty much all my life mainly weights training but also was into mountain biking,road biking,and skate boarding( longboards) for many years as well as bodybuilding I never did any competition but I was what you can call a “gym rat” and have been passionate about training ,health nutrition all my adult life .So I trained in gyms for like 25 years but the last 5 years i trained mainly at home and or in outside gyms (in parks) I was still working out but less intensely since I was working a lot in my job doing overtime etc in order to prepare my retirement ..

Right now I’m in a decent shape specially for my age I still get people on the street giving me positive comments on my shape ,but one of the goals I have by retiring is to get into the best shape I can and take really good care of my health as much as possible .

i just started surfing witch was a sport I always wanted to practice and I have finally the chance to do so here in the Philippines…

I don’t train in a gym but at home with simple set of 70 kilos of adjustable dumbells/bar and dip/chin apparel so I am a little limited in my choices of exercises but I feel I can still achieve my goal with the knowledge and équipement I have..I may eventually go back in a gym if I find one that is worth it but I live in a small barangay(town) so not to obvious to find a nice one..

Also good to know I suppose about me is that I’m into intermitant fasting since 5 years doing it 4-5 days a week and even did 2 long fast (5 days each) the last one being done 3 weeks ago the goal being for health purposes since the body gets into autophagie and cleans itself during fasting stage and so I formerly believe this is a good habit to have and plan on doing 1-2 long fast/year….

Concerning my diet I’m not counting macros or calories etc so I won’t be describing every meal I’m eating but I eat very clean being in the Philippines I have acces to a lot of fish,fresh food and veggies etc .i drink a few glasses of wine a week(i will of course stop ounce i start my cycle..) and eat black chocolate pretty much every day (around 15 grams) 2-3 fruits a day(bananas,mangos,water melon,Asian pears and apples ) eat also some home made jello made with neutral gelatin and fruit juices,3-4 times a week I have a soup made with bone broth cooked 24 hrs in a slow crock pot and eat 4 eggs with bacon or ham and half a cup of rice and some coffee when I have breakfast and am not fasting until diner..when I’m fasting I just have black coffe in the morning ..So for diner I will most of the time have (5 days on 7) fresh fish (tuna,salmon etc) with a cup of rice and veggies,with a little of olive oil,and ounce a week I will have some beef,chiken or porc.i am also gluten free since 14 years now,ao i never eat bread or pasta (in the Philippines it’s very hard to find those gluten free items..) don’t eat dairy’s either…

So for my stats : I’m 5’8.5” last time I wiegted myself I was 190 lbs (6 months ago …I don’t have access to weight myself at the moment but I should be pretty much at the same place) I am probably at around 12 % body fat and I train 4-5 times/week doing arms (biceps triceps ) legs on day 1, shoulders,lower back,abs day 2, upper back and chest,abs day 3,I do the work outs days on after the other in rotation and take a day or 2 off/week when I feel I need it or when I go surfing witch is a really good work out for the shoulders by itself when paddling out against the waves..when I work out on the days I surf I avoir doing shoulder day..lol

For my training just like my diet I go by “feel” so I don’t really have a training log I just do stuff I feel gets me a good pump and go 80-90% of the time to max..I really like super sets (I like to train antagonists) but I will perform them most of the time with a little break of 30 seconds to a minute in between antagonists…I always starts my sets with a small weight and very high reps and work myself up with the weights to avoid injuries and obtain a nice pump(50,40,30,20,10 reps) . I also perform usually 4-6 sets per exercice and 2 exercices/body parts I know that’s not a lot of volume but since I’m on hight volume of reps and doing super sets I feel this works fine for me now and when I will be doing a cycle of course I will do more sets…I’m just preparing my body for a cycle right now..

Also good to know I’m on trt since 14 years ,was on only 100 mg/week first 2 years (my doctor wouldn’t prescribe me more lol) then I went up to 150/week for a few years and the last 2 years was on 200/week ..recently 2 weeks ago I upped that to 300/week in preparation for a cycle that i intend to start in a about a month as soon as I get my gear…

Also good to know I have only done one cycle like 20 years ago witch was only turinabol 40 mg/day for 6 weeks witch gave amazing results (went from 180 to 218 lbs) with very lean gains ..was around 14 % fat and got down to 12 % even tho I got jacked to 218…I haven’t did more cycles since I had other priority’s ,and for other reasons I don’t need to talk about.



Supps I take at the moment:

-Magnesium glycinate

-MSM powder

-Vid d3 with k2 and bioperine

-Boron

-Boawela (anti-inflammatory plant)

-Dim

-Coq10

-A little of potassium powder(for minerals)

-MnM

-Tuscan

-milk twisle

-Ivermectin 12 mgs twice a day(for the anti cancer properties and for prevention against parasites)

-methylene blue (50 drops a few days a week)

-will start taking aspirin 81 mg/day very soon since I upped my testosterone to 300/mg week and in the perspective of doing my cycle in about a month…



Concerning my cycle plan, I was thinking of doing :

300 mgs/week 16 weeks

Turinabol 20 mgs/day 1-6 week

Primobolan 400 mgs/week 6-16 week

But recently after my 5 days fast that I actually did in hope to get rid of some pain/discomfort i have since 2 months now in my shoulders( I feel pain and stiffness when I stretch them and when I sleep on my sides I have to move to another position after 15-30 minutes because the discomfort/pain starts )so yes my sleep is pretty crappy since 2 months..I was suppecting the paddling on the surf being responsible for that issue but I stopped the surf for a month and I still had the pain/discomfort/stiffness ,so until now I still don’t know what exactly is going on with my shoulders and hope to find a solution for that..

All that to say that I did the 5 days fast in hope to heal that issue and then start a anavar cycle ,but 2 days after my fast I started taking the anavar (only 20 mg/day) that I bought on indiamart (I know o shouldn’t of both it there but it was easy acces for the Philippines etc lol) and started my traning but almost right away I started I began feeling a lot of pain (8/10)in my right shoulder and very stiff I lost almost all mobility and after trying different things to try to resolve the problem I decided 3 days after I started to stop the anavar since I couldn’t even train no more so no point continuing..I finally had to take some Advils and eventually even colchicine(I hate taking these kind of meds but the pain was to intense and i had no other options)

Eventually after 3-4 days the pain dissipated and things came back to normal a week later…I tried to understand what exactly happended and I first tought tru my research that I may have started training and taking the anavar to soon after my fast witch depleted me from minerals..But I also suspect the anavar being bad stuff and or also my age with a molecule like anavar is maybe to harsh on my body since I know that a lot of steroid pills are harsh on the joints..Could be a mix of all those options as well..All that to say that I’m not planing on taking that anavar anymore,and that with a second tought I’m not even shure I should do the turinabol..So I’m kind of devided right now about my cycle ..I’m in fact more and more thinking of doing this cycle instead witch I think would be better for my old joints lol :


Week 1-8,testostérone E. 300 mg/week

Turinabol 30 mg/day,

Ostarine (MK-2866)20mg/day


Week 9-16,

Testosterone E. 300 mg/week

Ligandrol(led-4033)/10 mg/day

The point of the ostarine(MK-2866) is to help with the joints issues I may encounter with the turinabol (even tho I know it is less harsh for the joints then anavar)then switch for 7 weeks to lingandrol to give a break to my liver etc…and then take another 7 weeks of ostarine (finisher)to consolidate the gains and help the joints again… I know dosages are low but I want to keep it safe and see how my body reacts…in a future cycle if things went well with this one I may up the dosage I will see but anyways my goal for now is to get more ripped and gain just a few pounds of muscle since I already have a good mass base at 190lbs…

I’m of course open for suggestions ..I am also looking to take so e bpc-157 and tb-500 for my shoulders witch are still a little sore and to heal a 4 years old injury of my right leg I got from crashing on a downhill on my longboard but I m afraid of getting underdosed or infected stuff specially that it’s not cheap and being on retirement I cannot afford to trow money true the windows…So looking for a reliable source for that,that’s not going to cost me a fortune..

Ok! Thanks! Im Actually going to up date my log..I’m starting a fasting protocol I have never tried that stevesmi in spirited me to do with his posts on fasting..will update that very soon..just started the fast today…
 
Ok guys so while I’m waiting to recieve my gear and start my cycle which will be a sarms cycle (mk-2866-mk-677 and lgd-4033 )I’ve decided to try a new fasting protocol I’ve never experienced before and that was inspired to me by stevesmi with his posts/tread about fasting…
Until now I’ve experimented with intermittent fasting quiet a bit (during 4-5 years) last year I tried a protocol of fasting for 3 days/week for 8 weeks,and did until now 2 long fasts of 5 days in the last year..but haven’t tried the one I’m about to..Witch will be alterning one day of fast with one day of food ..Will actually be eating from 12 am till 12 pm on the eating day (so 12 hours of eating window)that means I will be actually be fasting for 36 hrs and eating for 12.. for 30 days…But I will see along the way down the road how things goes,how I feel ,i
may prolong beyon 30 days if I’m not quiet were I want to be with results or stop before if on the countrary I’m satisfied with results.. I will adjust…

So Here are the major points of my protocol:

✅ Natural calorie deficit: With one day without eating out of two, my total calorie intake over the week will necessarily be lower.

✅ Metabolic effect of fasting: After 16-20 hours of fasting, the body will draws more on fat for energy so with 36 hours of fast (I will be actually be eating for 12 hours every second day) this should be very efficient..

✅ Better insulin sensitivity: By eating less often, this reduce insulin spikes and facilitate the use of fat.

✅ Hormonal boost: A 36 hour fast stimulates the secretion of norepinephrine, HGH (growth hormone) and improves fat mobilization.

✅ Effect on inflammation and recovery: Less oxidative stress, which should help with my shoulder joint pain…

1️⃣ During fasting days (36 hours without eating):

• Water, coffee,(in the morning only)and will take turmeric/ginger tea without sugar or milk(obviously).

• Electrolytes :will supplement in sea salt, potassium, magnesium glycinate to avoid fatigue.


2️⃣ During eating days:

• 10-12h max window to eat

• High proteins (fish, meat, eggs).

• Good fats (avocado, olive oil, coconut).

• Fibrous vegetables

• Low/moderate carbohydrates (optional) → Rice, sweet potato, or fruits at the end of the day if I feel I need energy


3️⃣ Training during fasting days only:

• Ideally I will train at the end of the fast (after 20 hours of fasting) to maximize fat oxidation.

• Heavy weight training + light cardio 1-2 hrs of walking on the beach (in the morning)to maintain muscle and burn fat


1️⃣ Strength Training on Fasting Days


✅ Preserves muscle mass while in a caloric deficit, with 300 mg of testosterone per week.

✅Increases glycogen depletion, forcing the body to rely more on fat for fuel.

✅ Boosts insulin sensitivity, making nutrient absorption more efficient on eating days.


2️⃣ Beach Walks (1-2 Hours) on Fasting Days in the morning

✅ Optimizes fat burning by staying within the 50% VO2 max zone, where the body primarily uses fat for fuel.

✅ Boosts metabolism without being too taxing on the body.

✅ Lowers cortisol levels, especially when combined with grounding (walking barefoot on the sand).

✅ Improves recovery by increasing blood flow and clearing metabolic waste from previous workouts.



3️⃣ Full Rest Days on Eating Days

✅ Maximizes anabolism and recovery by allowing the body to focus entirely on muscle repair and growth.

✅ Refills glycogen stores, ensuring optimal energy for the next training session.

✅ Enhances protein synthesis, making my muscle-building efforts more effective.

@Fastlane1 this would work well bro but i would suggest you refeed days like coming off the fast are more planned
you know for every 1 day on a fast you need 1.5 days for the body to recover, so 36 hours fast will need 72 hours recovery
and long term fasting you'll have hormonal issues, I suggest you plan 36 then 48 then 72 hour fasts so you can dial those in for 1 month and peel out then after you can refeed for 1 month slowly and come back again, easier on the body
on the gear, umbrella labs thats quality sarms you know you got lab tested stuff thats key there and you should get a test base imo like TRT

Thanks for the advices ..But I think I will be ok…I did 4 years of experimenting with intermittent fasting and my body is pretty familiar and well adapted to this kind of regiment..from the research I did I think I’m going to be ok with fasting 36 hrs and feeding for 12 as long as I keep my macros well balanced etc…keep in mind I’m on trt as well as taking tyroide supplements containing t3

I love PSL for sure a legit company bro EP anabolics the best
but for peptides I like umbrella labs my top gun place, they produce the peptides themselves super legit research outfit
