My first Beginner cycle Log (Cycle Length 12 Weeks testosterone Enanthate 400mg a week)
First off starting, I just wanted to log this to get any feedback or advice for my first cycle. I have been training in the gym for 4 years now and feel I have a solid grasp of training knowledge and nutrition. I have wanted to begin my first cycle but wanted to wait until I felt ready with everything else that comes into the bodybuilding scene and I feel now is the time. That being said this is new territory for me so I wanted to start off with just a straight test cycle to begin and see how my body reacts. If there is any advice or changes that you believe I should make to start my first cycle any comments would be appreciated.
Cycle:
12-week length
Testosterone Enanthate 400 mg a week
split into 2 injections (Monday and Thursday)
Anastrozole (arimidex) 0.25 mg once a week on Wednesday
Age: 27
Height: 6'0
Weight: 212
Goal: I am sitting around 15% body fat right now. My goal is to put on size steadily throughout this 3 month cycle. I have been eating a caloric surplus of 3700 calories a day for the past 3 months and have been gaining around 1 pound every week. My maintenance calories are roughly around 3200 so I am aiming for a steady 500 calorie surplus a day to put myself in that 1lb gained a week territory.
Training Split: (15-20 min cardio daily)
6 days on, one day off
Monday: Chest, side delts
Tuesday: Back, rear delts
Wednesday: Arms and abs
Thursday: Legs (Quad focused 12 sets) & Hamstrings (8 sets)
*** second leg day if reversed (Hamstring focused 12 sets) and Quads (8 sets)
Friday: Chest, side delts
Saturday: Back, rear delts
Sunday: off day (1 hour of cardio mostly pickup basketball because I used to be an athlete
