Hey all, completely fell off these past couple days. No log, no exercise, and diet's been complete trash from a Tijuana trip. Will get back in the gym tomorrow though.
Onto the replies.
So the process began with a screening questionnaire on low t symptoms, to which I checked off 9 out of 10 symptoms. I then got my bloodwork, and once results were in, I had the appointment with the MD. I honestly thought he was not going to prescribe me anything since i am clearly in the middle range of the 300-1000. Instead, he referred to the symptoms I self reported I am experiencing, and said "youre in the 500s, our goal is to get you above 800 and this is the protocol..." I obviously wasnt going to say no nevermind, so im happy. Regarding the 300-1000 range, I did read somewhere that the study those values were derived from didnt take into account many factors of the male subjects including age. I didn't really explore this further since I was getting the prescription, but thought it interesting.
I agree completely, my diet needs improving. I will work on this by eating less processed foods, decreasing daily carbs, and increasing proteins from real food.
I'll also bump up the cardio. Regarding carbs, how many grams of carbs should I cut it down to? I know another member said 100, but man that is low. And yes I will begin meal prepping.
Thanks and will do!
