There’s no bad time of year except rainy season December- March. Sone tears we get a lot of nice weather then too.

I don’t really have any close by friends like this. My husband isnt into woo woo whoop it up fun stuff he’s much more reserved. My old friends who are more like me have all dispersed away from the Bay Area so it’s not convenient my city / brunch friend is older and his circle isn’t one that’s going to do physical activities ( he doesn’t even like going to the movies) And all the many many many guys I meet for sex, are not into being friends as
Much as i offer “ let’s keep in touch and do a movie sometime” They just want the D and then you gotta go bye. Lol
Making new friends in California is difficult especially in the bay area. Everyone is an acquaintance or co worker or associate there is no personal commitment. We are very aloof and non committed folks.

One example I met a guy in my old apt building came here from Tennessee. When he told everyone he was moving to California the response wasn’t “wow that’s great good luck can we come visit”. Which is the normal response
The response was “ you can’t do that what about us you can’t just up and leave what are we gonna do” People in those places are very intertwined and wrapped up together and controlling in opinion. They don’t want you to be independent they want to hold you back.
What’s my point. I forgot.
Anyway you couldn’t pay me to live anywhere else. I dnt t care how cheap the housing is in idaho.
We are very lucky to just be ina place geographically loaded with natural beauty becuae we are in the edge of the tectonic plate and ina Mediterranean climate with no humidity.

what you are experiencing isn't so much a Bay area thing though cause the same is true in parts of the country which have a lot of migration IMO. a lot of times people simply want to get the hell out of their place and start a new life somewhere else and put their past behind them. that can be a very important thing too IMO to run away from past drama. same concept as people who move to other countries and live as 'expats'
nothing worse in life then not having that flexibiilty. that is why i chose no kids, i don't want to be tied down to a baby mama and have to live where she dicates i live.

But yeh if you had a evo mini convention this would be the place to do it. If you don’t require luxury then I know basic hotels for 100 a night. The whole city is walkable and covered with transit/meteo and Uber lift.
Just be aware that when the dog and wind rolls in you’ll think your in Minnesota all of sudden so you can wear your stingers but you gotta have a seriously sturdy hoodie acail at all cuz the hills cause the weather to change.
Food and eating out is high. If you’re from New York City you won’t be shocked. If you’re from Biloxi you will have a stroke. lol.
But Bros don’t drink so that’s a savings and Bros only eat chicken and broccoli anyway. Although sourdough bread and Ghirardelli chocolate are mandatory.
3 nights Fri-Mon. Will cover all the main sites and and lot of walking up hills and neighborhoods

Yep I did all the rowing. Then we found a secluded make out spot inthe reeds lol.
The only bad part was the wind on the lake kept pushing me in the opposite direction so I had to row hardest lol. But the great thing was I’m really so much stronger now that I rowed that boat for over an hour and wasnt the least bit tired or sore. Plus it’s my job to be the butch one lol. i like it that way and its why i get why married middle aged dudes always have guts and don't take care of their hair or face. when you been married years you start to not give a shit about how you look to others. what happens though when a spouse starts caring its probably a sign that they are cheating lol. i used to watch a lot of 'cheaters' and that was always the tell tale signal
but for me even in this situation i make sure i keep a tight waist and stay healthy cause i want to live a healthy life. its important to me everyday to have crazy high energy and be a beast. that is my motivation. plus i gotta make sure i talk the talk and not be a hypocrite on here with you all.

Yep it was great. There’s tons of lakes in all the regional parks that have rental boats and kayaks available
I’d really like to go whitewater rafting again I’ve been twice so far.
That’s our mountain house it was nice when we lived so close to Lake Tahoe and the American river. But it was too isolated after a while. At least three hours east of SF .
Much more social here.
But I’m ready to go in the river again for sure

I generaly do three hours with trainer and we use the cross fit space . He teaches CrossFit and they let him use the space for his PT clients like me. It’s not a gym full of machines so everything g we do is improvised using free weights kettle bells bands boxes etc there’s no leg press machine No leg extension No smith machine etc. but just as effective. We basically do a three day bro split with modifications as needed
Then I do one day solo at planet fitness
Where I do a light overall vanity pump before I go out to the Eagle. Or what we plus I do some ass and abs since we don’t have time to target those specifically
