Hello for those who don’t know me .
Been advised to make a log here .
I’m 41 years of age .
Over the last 10 years I got super unwell , it all started when I didn’t shit for 2 weeks and had to undergo surgery and had a piece of broken intestine removed . Took me a long time to heal as I was constantly sick and developed sever gut reactions to all sorts of foods .
The weight started piling on from inactivity.
Eventually I joined a gym and started strength training , and I enjoyed it. Got the weight under control again for a few years .
I had sleep apnea and didn’t treat it , eventually the weight came back with a vengeance. By now if started using steroids .
Years passed by , I never really gave a shit .
Untill I got to 143 kg .

That’s me at my biggest . 143 kg . I was super strong though so the ego lifting was blinding me .
I could barely even wipe my ass .

I started focusing on weight loss , my gut issues severely limit my choices .
About 6 months ago I purchased a cpap machine and for some reason the fat started melting off.
I didn’t change much diet wise , or training wise , just the fact that I’m getting proper sleep has unlocked a door that seems to have been locked .

This is last week .
I’m under 120 kg . Haven’t weighed my self in a while and don’t have a scale .

Currently doing a push pull legs routine , with 2 dedicated cardio days a week .
Before each weight session I do 10 mins cardio .
And 20 mins cardio after wards .
Currently only eating 1 meal a day .
200 grams chiken breast with 3/4 cup of cooked rice .

I have 4 litres of water at least a day .
Weekends I’ll have a proper meal with the family but I try keep carbs to a minimum .
Meal is eaten 2 hours before I go gym .
After gym I’ll have some sort of light protien .
My gut issues are very sever so I’m very limited in the quantity of food I can eat .
I vomit after every thing I eat , hiccup all day .
I eat half a grape fruit during the day and I’ll have a cup of maggi chicken stock .
The cup of stock is 6 calories , just over 400 mg salt .
If you’re trying to diet and you feel hungry and don’t have calories left …… the stock is a good trick .
I realise logs here are very detailed so hit me up with any questions,
Especially about my gut issues .it severely limits me food wise , I try avoiding fats and keep carbs to a minimum or I have a very bad day .
I train with my 14 year old daughter so my training will also include her .
She’s tough as nails though and can handle a proper workout.

@Dirt welcome to the EVO family fully! I see you posting around and commenting, but now you have a log up you're in our family.

I want to say that I'm proud of your accomplishment, you've transformed your life completely, which is amazing. The before and after is amazing and impressive bro. :) you've had some amazing self control to go thru the transformation. Many on the forum changed their lives in the EVO family, including myself. I was a drug/alcohol addict for years, and I'm sober for many years now, largely thanks to the EVO family. :)

diet, please share foods and meals and when you eat them, no matter the situation
training, please share exercises weights sets and reps as you do them
and please share cardio
If you don't log what you eat or train now, open NOTES on phone and start recording it there and paste here. Very easy.

@Dirt good clean cycle, you doing an Ai? and you have any blood work?
I’ve been very lucky with e2 , I’ve never had any any sides other than a bit of water retention.
I’ve done some stupid high doses too.
Never had itchy or sore nipples except once , after I ate some Chinese steamed buns that had soy in it . And maybe that was just I my mind .
I haven’t done blood work in years as I’ve pretty much kept the test at that level for a while now .
I should and will do some bloods in the near future for curiosity sake .
I used ai years ago , crashed my e2 and decided not to use it . Still have it on hand just in case .

Although I sleep 7 hours perfect. Any advantage with sleep is great and I am a snorer

I just bought it my self bro . I already knew in needed it . The tests are just a money making scam .
I highly recommend it . My body was under massive stress and the weight gain and the inability to lose it was very likely because of that stress . Like I said , when I started using it , the fat melted off and is continuing to do so .
I can only see benefit for you if you get one . You’re getting more oxygen to your blood while you sleep .
Here in Australia I found mine online on a payment plan . $23 a month .
Do some research and I’m sure you’ll find one on a plan where ever you are .

@Dirt well its hard to say if you're lucky or not without bloodwork bro :) e2 can be high without water retention but damaging the organs.
Your T dose is low so I don't think you have a problem with estrogen to be fair.

Id like to see more training diet updates as you go, waiting big bro

I’ll share a photo of my meal tommorow .
And I’ll download an app or something can help me track all my food .

Mondays training was a push day.
10 mins cardio ,
5 sets of machine chest press
5 sets of machine shoulder press
5 sets of flys
5 sets of laterals
5 sets of incline smith machine press
5 sets of triceps rope things to failure each set
5 sets of seated dip machine .
20 mins cardio .

Fire alarm went off just after flys , pissed me off cause I was on fire by then.
Waited outside 10 mins before being allowed back In .
Was a bit pissed off and wanted to go home , but my daughter god bless her convinced me to stay .
Glad she was with me .


Tuesday ,
Was going to do pull session , argued with the wife about me spending too much time in the gym , ended up just going for a really angry walk around the neighbourhood for an hour or so .
Was a good fast paced angry walk with lots of swearing and jaw clenching .
Came back home sweating my ass off amd time her not to talk to me ever again .
She laughed at me .

200 gram chicken breast and 1/4 cup of cooked glutenous rice.
The rice is super easy to digest .
I prefer a carb that digests fast or my gut starts to protest .
I had one of those meals 2 hours before my walk today .
After the walk I’m still not hungry and about to go sleep .
Had a gulp of milk from the bottle just to spite the mrs .

Bro reading this log I have so much respect for where you’ve came from and where you are now your transformation has been nothing short of amazing 🤩

I’m loving that your training with your daughter as well, bro. It’s definitely a nice thing to be able to bond with your kids at the Gym and guide and teach them about training, something I wish my dad would’ve done for me as I had a pretty rough time in my teen years and would’ve loved some guidance and education around training so in think it’s very admirable you’re doing it for your daughter!
I can’t wait until my boys are old enough to go to the gym 💪

You have already come so far Brother and I am confident in you that you are going to achieve amazing things in this log, it’s always good to see a fellow Aussie grinding hard and giving it a red hot go 🔥

I’m hoping this log makes me accountable, I’ve had a look at other logs in here and some of them seem long term . A lot of men similar to my story too , so I thought I can use this as tool to benefit my self and maybe aswell inspire others aswell .
I’ve performed a lot of trail and error on my self over the years , done some very stupid shit , and made some weird discoveries along the way .
Some I’ll keep to my self as sometimes people mistake a confession as advice.
I like to do alot of reading amd I’m obsessed with performance enhancement, it’s amazing .
I love it and I can admit I’m addicted to all of it

can you add omega 3 fats like nuts to it? and can you digest that fine
 
@dirty I suggest 14-15 grams of omega 3 fats per day thats 1 tbps of fish oil or you can do a handful of walnuts/almonds mixed

@Dirt pecans no good, best is walnuts followed by almonds bro

Had 2 meals instead of just 1 today .
Big mistake . Bloated , hiccuping for hours now , had a couple of spews . Really uncomfortable.
I tried . Ah well .
Back to one meal tommorow . Will upload all my macros for the day in little while with my days training
can you do digestive enzymes and probiotics bro? :) im not sure but that would help a lot
and how about sticking to a 16/8 fasting window might help digestion too
