it's all about pounding your body but then resting
make sure you get some good rest post workout

nice arm day for sure
I bet you got some good pumps

I've never believed and lifting heavy weights
keeping it high volume and low repetition has been my strategy
I have to agree with you on this some what, I do not have the build that most bros do on here so I feel i still need to push up in weight when i can. but I'm defiantly not ego lifting.(as the weight #s show that lol) I do not really care about that. the goal is to get stronger and look jacked. For health mainly but doent hurt if i end up looking like a smooth criminal in the process. I feel like moderate weight, slow control movement on the dicentric portion on the exercise, also make sure to get a good stretch on each rep and a strong quick eccentric. This method has humbled me in more ways then one for sure. I feel I get insane pumps and def better mind muscle connection by doing it this way.

lifting more heavy and doing compound lifting can really help you build a strong base
but in no way do you have to do heavy weights

you can always do abs every single workout split
it's one of the few muscles you can train often

Bros that's good that you're doing some cardio
try and do fasted cardio at helps

-Workout 04/30/24-
Cardio was 2 Mile walk again on treadmill

Squats: 20lbs dumbbells on each shoulder 4 sets / 15-20 reps/ last STF

Deadlifts: 3 sets x 8-10 reps/ 100lbs max plates available feel like I can do more weight. /Straight reps no STF

Lunges: 3 1/2 sets / 10 reps per leg/Straight Reps no STF

Calf Raises: 20lbs/e dumbbell on each shoulder 4 sets / 25 reps

Famers Carry: 40lbs/e 4 rounds/sets of 5, 60 ft carry

Prone Frog Curl: 4 sets/20 Reps/ Straight reps no STF

Crunches: 4 Sets/ 20 Reps/ Last STF

Leg Raises w/ Kick up: 4 Sets/ 20 reps/ Straight reps no STF

Russian Twists: 15lbs dumbbell /4 Sets/ 20 each side/ Straight Reps no STF

Hanging Leg Raises(Knee raises): 3Sets/15 reps/straight reps no STF

Bros my Abs are tight today from the workout last night. If I cough or laugh I feel it.

Arms are still spent from the other day, Farmers carry was fucking brutal this time around. Arms were on fire by the last 2-3 rounds. Wanted to just fucking throw the dumbbells out of hands but kept pushing. The “leg” raise I am not able to have my legs straight out yet so I had them tucked raising knees up. So I guess technically knee raises.

Workout felt good, kicked my ass. Leg and Ab days are not my fav, upper body is what I love to workout. Very spent, So I am glad I am giving myself a full rest day today to R&R, whole body is feeling it. Probably will still walk today but no workout.

Understood, I do try to lift heavy when I can and my equipment allows it(don't have many plates yet), but I am concerned with Technique and Form over weight. My goal is to lock in the Form and Technique for that exercise using moderate weight. Not to heavy but still will provide optimal resistance. Once I can do 10-20 reps using that weight with perfect or good form. that is when I move up my weights by 5lbs. I want it to be a sprint to the finish line to get jacked. But i know it takes time and effort. So I want to do it right. So when i do start lifting HEAVY weight my form is perfect and I have less chance of injury.
