Hey everyone,

I’ve been training pretty consistently for the past 12 years. I’m 30 now and based in Australia.

My usual routine has been 6 sessions a week: 4 days of strength training focused on compound lifts, plus 2 days of functional movement and cardio. I sit around 80kg currently.

I’ve joined this community because I’m really feeling the impact of a new job I started earlier this year. It’s a corporate role but the hours are brutal (I’m essentially working with data 12 hours a day, including weekends). As a result, my energy levels have plummeted. I’m waking up exhausted, struggling with brain fog, and I’ve started losing motivation to train. It’s led to noticeable muscle loss and some fat gain, which is frustrating after being so consistent for so long.

I’m looking into peptides as a way to support recovery, improve sleep, reduce fatigue and brain fog, and ideally get me back to training 6 times a week. Right now, the idea of waking up at 5am feels impossible given how mentally drained I am.

The compounds I’ve been researching include SS-31, MOTS-C, NAD+, Melanotan II, Retatrutide, Epitalon, BPC-157, and 5-Amino-1MQ. I’m not planning to run all of them, just trying to understand what might be most effective for my situation.

If anyone has experience with these or could point me in the right direction based on what I’m dealing with, I’d really appreciate the advice.

Thanks!

Jorddy, your job sounds absolutely brutal to me. I have a horrible temperament for office work, but outside in the heat and cold I’m happy. I am used to those kinds of hours though, and even some what in the office, with loads and loads of paperwork, meetings, etc. I hate going to sleep with the dreadful feeling that everyone is going to let me down tomorrow, and every other little thing. I’ve tried a couple of those peptides, and many others. MT2, I didn’t care for. It gives you boners like you took viagra and makes your skin the wrong color tan. Ruddy looking. I didn’t get nausea from it. I could eat normally.
I also tried epitalon more than once. It’s not really something I could feel, I believe it’s a background health thing but others may have a better idea of it. If you want your brain as sharp as can be I would try cerebrolysin. That stuff is amazing for me every time I do it. I’ve been doing it once a year for like five years. It has lasting effects, and not just cognition, I definitely feel better stress management and recovery. Ultimately, you are overworked. Somehow you’re going to have to figure out a way To manage the stress and recover. You can do it though. People are very adaptable. Getting a quick workout in, like a really intense 1 set of each of your favorite lifts for like a 20 minute workout or even less, would help you when you’re ready to do that, any type of life hack so you can eat right will be huge. And whatever it takes to get restful sleep. I’m taking pinealon right now, and I have been getting excellent sleep, but I had to mostly cut out coffee and switch to matcha before that happened.

Also, if that job is taking that much from you, it probably needs you more than you need it. You’re obviously a valuable person. Make sure it’s worth it💪
