Approved Log My Retatrutide Walking and Diet cycle Log

About Me:
Current: As of Today

  • Age: 38 years old
  • Height: 173 cm
  • Weight: 74 kg
  • Training: 5 months of gym training without any cycle (one year ago). Never trained before or after.
  • Cycle: 6-month Retatrutide cycle - Injecting 10 mg per week (5 mg on Tuesdays and 5 mg on Fridays).
  • Steroid Cycle: None so far. In fact, nothing other than Reta. I tried 10 mg of semaglutide for a couple of weeks, but it did not work for me at all.
  • Diet: Mostly cooking beef and eating that with 6 eggs (on and off)—not very strict. I have also been eating other things too, but I don’t remember much detail. Occasionally, I’ve baked sweet potatoes.
  • General Diet: For the last one and a half years, I’ve been eating mostly chicken or beef with fewer carbs. I don’t take sugar. I followed a keto diet for a long time and have since mostly avoided carbs. I’ve also been taking 100 g of whey protein for about 10 months and then reduced that to 75 g per day. However, I was not following a very strict diet and never recorded details.
  • Cardio: Throughout this cycle, I was walking for 1 hour on nearby hilly tracks with ups and downs that would leave me panting.
  • Supplements: I’ve been taking calcium, magnesium, vitamin D, vitamin B complex, biotin, and fish oil capsules.
  • Sleep Details: After starting Reta, I struggled with sleep. I would sleep for 5 hours, wake up, and then feel sleepy throughout the day. My sleep became fragmented, making my day job quite difficult.

Before I Started the Cycle:

I was 100 kg and didn’t know anything about the existence of these drugs. I started a keto diet, began walking every other day, and went to the gym. I lost 17 kg, reaching 83 kg within 10–12 months. However, when I stopped the keto diet, cardio, and gym, I gained weight quickly, reaching 89 kg in just a month. I was in despair because I couldn’t lose more than 83 kg and eventually lost patience.

Cycle Started:

I discovered the hidden world of steroids and peptides (woohoo, credit goes to my searching skills 😂). Initially, I lost $200 to scammers on Facebook pages 😂. I bought a 10 mg vial of semaglutide, injected 1 mg and then 2 mg, but my body didn’t react at all.

After further research, I found Retatrutide (woohoo—party 🥳). This miracle drug worked wonders. I started with 2 mg per week, quickly increasing to 5 mg and then 10 mg per week. Initially, I experienced dizziness, but it subsided within a week or two.

In the first week, I lost 6 kg, and the weight loss continued but slowed down over time. I reached 67 kg and couldn’t lose any further weight. From 83 kg to 67 kg, I lost a total of 16 kg.

Reta Effects on Me:
  • Appetite Suppression: Extreme.
  • Skin Improvement: I started looking younger, and my skin tightened. It seemed to trigger collagen production, preventing sagging skin 😱.
  • Diet Challenges: I avoided carbs, especially rice, bread, vegetables, lentils, and fruits. I ate eggs, baked sweet potatoes, normal potatoes, beef, and rarely chicken with olive oil. Toward the end of my cycle, I reintroduced complex carbs (wholegrain bread, brown rice, chickpeas, kidney beans). My stomach couldn’t tolerate them, leading to extreme bloating and gas for a whole month.

Eventually, the bloating reduced, but I still have gas issues ☹️. I found others mentioning similar experiences after a Reta cycle. I even consulted a GP who ran all blood tests, which came back normal.

To control the bloating and stomach problems, I started taking the following supplements before eating:
  1. Pancreatin Enzyme
  2. Beano (Alpha-galactosidase enzyme)

Why I Stopped Reta:

I stopped Reta due to extreme fatigue and stomach issues with carbs. I even feared I might have stomach cancer because of Reta 😂.

Current Situation:

It has been a month since I stopped the cycle. After reintroducing carbs like rice and bread, I started gaining weight rapidly, reaching 74 kg.

One issue is I see a lot of and perhaps indicated above is 'doing a diet' then 'stopping the diet' and being half shocked that weight came back. If we return to doing (eating) what we did before it's kinda obvious we'll go back to that shape etc.

Lots of similar issues when I started GLP1.

Did you taper on? How were you dosing?

This is as good, a time as ever to start this log.
Seems like you're learning a lot to as you experiment with things.

Nice job and nice opening to this one.

Definitely get some pictures up so we can see where you're at.

If you can get some pictures of when you are overweight before and then how you are now, that would be cool too.

Nice job, cutting the weight.

Keto diet is definitely a good one. A lot of people have good results from it. There's also other diets as well.

It's great to have you on here, man. Nice updates on what effects reta is having on you.

unfortunately these weight loss drugs do come with sides.

, I wouldn't abuse them. I would use them. Very sparingly.

I think it was a smart decision that you stopped taking Reta.

The risk versus reward has to be important aspect.

The long-term dangers of these types of drugs are going to smack a lot of people in the face. People really have to be careful with them. And listen to the body.

Will be following this
