Started doing 5k steps a day since MLK day 2023. Slowly reducing calorie intake doing low carb diet, no fast food, able to get my weight from 315 to 230 in 10 months. Plateaued at 225 from November to January, and started seriously tracking my calories like weighing it and being mindful with the macros when on a further deficit, been eating around 1600 to 1900 calories since February 2024, doing a re-feed day once a month. The calorie intake was too low hence some muscle loss. Able to reach body weight goal of 175 lbs in May. Did research on Var found out that it helps in muscle retention, have seen good results while on Var, muscle definition been noticeable. Still doing 5k steps on weekdays and 10k on weekends. Bump up the calorie intake to 2000 to 2200.
