That was my idiot friend, I just knew what was going on when his girlfriend got me on the phone. She though he had taken some kind of drug but when I got there I realized he was beyond the point of us getting his sugar back up safely so we called EMS
 
Sorry for the disappearance guys, was out of town doing the family thing. Did good with my diet over the holiday for the most part. Stuck to strictly protein for meals other than my brother sabotaging me. He makes home made sourdough bread and I was unable to resist fresh baked bread bit out of the oven but I didn’t overindulge. Now it’s back to the grind hardcore, I’m determined to eat perfectly clean and get my training in evey day. Will give more information as to reps and weights as well as moening weight daily. Yesterday was one meal in the evening, venison spaghetti with spaghetti squash for the noodles. @Eddie Haskell and @NPC Champ, should I get back to my fasting routine? Today has just been black coffee and water so far.

Forgot to step on scale this morning
Black coffee and water during the day
Workout was stretching routine
3 sets planks held for 1.5 min each
3 sets of 15 pushups
3 sets of 15 leg raises
3 sets 25 crunches
3 sets of 17 dumbell flat bench with 25lb dumbells
3 sets of 10 incline dumbell bench with 20 pound dumbbells
Tried to do incline dumbell flys but my shoulders weren’t having it so I did three sets of low chest flys with resistance bands 30lbs.
My main issue is my shoulders, they won’t allow me to push as hard as I know should be able to.

Dinner was grilled venison tenderloin, steamed broccoli and sautéed cabbage.

3 sets of 10 incline dumbell bench with 20 pound dumbbells

meal looks sweet, I like venison, nice and tender bro ;)

but I would always try to up the planks if you can by 10-15 secs every few days, try to get to 2-3 min eventually it will build your core

Yeah man, salt and pepper,, garlic powder, three minutes per side. Grill marks bud.

so up the plank sets to like 5 per day for a start?
 
The training is kinda frustrating because my damned shoulders piss me off. When I was in my 20’s my PR on bench was 350 for two reps. Now I’m over here with dumbbells that a school
Girl could bench. I try to remind myself that I’m not 25 any more and have severely abused myself physically and with substances for years so I guess I’m paying the price.

shoulder press dont do much bro because of injuries, NEVER try to PR on shoulder press thats for sure injuries
always go low weight high reps on shoulders
 
It’s progress for sure, it’s slow but it’s happening. Appreciate all the help and support man.
progress is always going to be slow bro ;) but look where you are now compared to where you started, 1 foot in front of the other and you pushing hard

btw, do you have the budget to get blood work done? we should get bloods for test/estrogen etc to see if you need TRT

On a positive note, I think I have found out what was causing my hip issue and it’s an easy fix.

Fuckin ribeye is the best man, I seriously have no problem wasting steak every day, i love that shit

the hip issue was being caused by my concealed carry holster. I carry in my strong side (right) inside the waists and and I carry a spare mag at about 10 o’clock on my weak side outside just clipped on my belt. I’ve driopped so much weight that I’ve gotta wear my bet super tight to keep my paints up and I think one or both were pressing against a nerve in my hip. I found a didfeeent system to run my carry and have been using it for about three days and the hip pain is slowly fading.
 
I’m old bro? Back when I did lift a lot, 25 years ago, everything we did was simple. We didn’t have all
Kinds of crazy exercises ti supernisolate one part of a muscle. We went to the gym, smoked one or two muscle groups and went home. It’s what I know so it’s what I do. I am however keeps tonsugestyon and learning new exercises. Especially silly with working around these busted ass shoulders I have.
