I like to do it first thing because our minds are much more relaxed. Find a space in the house the feels comfortable and add cushions / back support if needed or even sit up against a wall. I find a cushion between your back and the wall helps because you won't feel the cold. Also dont look at your phone or any other distractions prior to doing this. I actually have a spare phone on airplane mode just for a timer and some binaural beats to help. If new their are many guided meditations to get you stated but after some time you just breathe and go deeper and deeper to a point where you don't feel your body. Time and practice. The mind is like a Muscle. You need to train it. Ive been practicing now for around 12 years. I used to meditate 1 hour plus every day. Now between work, running, weights, sauna and all my other activities i only get 20 minutes in. Still enough to set the mood for the day.good job on the meditation.
