Sort of the same story here.
I was at 200ng/dl total T but I was fat af and diet was shit. Changed everything and got pretty lean, total T went to 290-310ng/dl in multiple tests in different weeks even though sleep was on point, bodyfat was within a decent range 15-20%, diet was on point, workout was on point.
Doctors couldn't find anything wrong with me, and I had to go to like 5 different ones, only the last one prescribed TRT (after I insisted a ton). They prescribed Test Undecanoate but I chose to eventually just do it myself with Test E. 150mg/week.
I can say that I never felt better, even if it would endanger my life, I wouldn't come off, honestly living life with low T (even though within normal range) just sucks ass. Brain fog, no energy, no motivation, anxiety, workouts sucked ass each time, problems with erection and libido, etc.
Honestly, I've read a couple of books, done some research, the only things that suck with TRT are: pinning for the rest of your life (I'm pretty much fine with this), infertility (I got a kid already, so I'm fine), natural production will shut down and will recover slow or not at all depending on the time you stay on TRT (again I'm fine with this, my natural production sucked ass), gotta monitor lipids and hematocrit.
