Hey yall I’m 46 and have a little bit of experience working out, but no pretty much nothing when it comes to gear. I’ve looked online. I’ve done some research and been reading through a lot of the threads on this page and it seems like everybody here seems to be very helpful whether you’re new or have years of experience. Unfortunately, a couple other groups I was in people talk to me like I’m an idiot because I don’t have all the answers and I’m asking questions. Everybody seems pretty cool here so right now. I’ve just been easing back into lifting because I’ve been recovering from her hernia surgery, but I started on test c two months ago. I pin .25 ml a day of a 250 mg/ml bottle. I’m going to get blood work again next week to see where my levels are at. I keep it pretty simple with supplements I take protein and creatine. I’ve got a kind of mild pre-workout and some multivitamins I take. I take extra zinc and vitamin D. What I wanna do is get a little bit of a push. I need a little extra help and I’ve got a solid connect. Anyone that wants to chime in with recommendations at anything please let me know if you need any more information. Please let me know. I’m all yours. All I wanna do is learn. I just wanna get in better shape when I was locked up years ago. I worked out every day and was humongous and I felt great and looked good. I know I’m never gonna get back to that because I don’t have 23 hours a day to just work out. I’m back in society but I gave up all the bad stuff I was doing. I’ve got a wife and kids. My brain keeps telling me I’m 20 years old and my body says I’m 80 years old and I’m trying to get those two numbers to meet. I appreciate all the info. Everybody has posted and I wish I could be more helpful but unfortunately right now. I’m just a listener if you’ve read this far thank you for taking the time to read this. God bless y’all.

0.25ml ed of 250mg test you’re at about 437 mg per week, so that’s already a cycle dose not TRT, and you don’t add a push on top of that until bloodwork and BP are being tracked, you're pretty much at 500mgs test cycle tbh. :D
Coming off hernia surgery, the real priority is rebuilding strength and core stability with smart progression, you have to be very careful.

HOW-TO LOG?

Why is a Log Journal important?

  • Doing a log will actually help you way more than just dropping random updates. When you lay it all out week by week you start to see patterns in your body that you won’t catch otherwise.
  • Other guys here run logs all the time and there’s no privacy issue, nobody is asking for your name or anything personal, it is just training, diet, and how the compound feels.
  • The feedback you get is also way better because people can follow along and spot things you might miss. It also helps the next guy who is thinking about running the same compound so you are giving back while you learn.
  • Even if you think you might not stick with it, just starting the log makes it easier to come back and add quick notes. That way you get more out of what you are running instead of keeping it all in your head.

To really guide you we need more info from you:
  • Please share your diet, training, cardio, sleep, supplements etc log with us in a NEW thread, full log journal so our guidance is based on facts you provide.
  • It will take 15-20 minutes max.
  • We have 100s of years of experience between us, so you need to post a LOG Journal with your stats (weight,height,age, years training, cycle history) diet, training, cardio, supplement, sleep details. If you don't log what you eat or train now, open NOTES on phone and start recording it there and paste here. Very easy.
  • Please post a Log Journal asap for us

Let's get a log going for you with your bloodwork posted so we can see where you're at. You're currently on cycle so this bloodwork will be important for us to see where to go from here.

Please start up a log so we can see your daily diet, training and supplement doses. We will also need a pic of your base physique to see what you're starting at and what we're working with as well as your height, weight, BF%, etc and cycle history.

Bros, it's good that you committed to it. Why don't you start up a log and detail more about yourself with pictures so we get an idea of where you're at?

I would go through the logs that we have on here, look at the cycles people are using, look at the results that they're having, and look at their strategies when it comes to supplementation and ancillaries.

you can start out with some test and an oral kickstart to your cycle. no need to overcompliate things

we all have to start somewhere. why don't you start a log and then we can recommend something? maybe like test E and anavar would be a good first cycle

Will do boss. Thank you for the info and the warm welcome. I’ll get all that set up with the logs as soon as I can. I have a dr appointment today actually so I’ll get my labs done again to check levels. I’m with you on rebuilding strength down there so I don’t reinjure anything. That’s one of my biggest fears as I’ve had spine surgery years and years ago and I wasn’t as careful back then. Thanks again and I’m happy I found a decent group finally

Anavar or Winstrol were two I was thinking about but I was told bloodwork is needed before I add anything and I’m on a pretty high dose of test as well. Past TrT but I’m cool with that. I’ll start the as soon as I can and thanks again for the help.

Yes sir I will definitely check those out and would love to talk one on with with someone who has experience. Like I said in my first post there are SOOOO many groups with people who talk to me like I’m an idiot because I don’t have the knowledge and experience they do. My workouts were in prison…. Dips,pull ups, push ups, crunches and burpees. Than as much jogging as the yard would allow. Outside of that I joined a gym once I got to a halfway house and could leave the building more often and that was great because I had more to work with. That was such a long time ago but i want to get back into that grind mode I just have a few years added on this body. My budget is kind of tight so I don’t want to hype it up that I can go all out with supps and gear but I’m definitely willing to spend a few bucks to pick your brain and get a decent plan in action. Whatever yall recommend. Thanks again and I’ll talk soon.
 
Let's be clear on the 23 hours a day thing
1. You slept. No one trained 23 hours a day
2. The REST (like no other work) was why you grew. Many could learn from that
I get what you’re saying…..I absolutely wasn’t going 23 hours a day but what I was trying to say is I had waaaaaaaay more free time back then…..23 hours was how long they had us packed up in a cell and you would get an hour for chow or rec depending on the day. I put in a lot of work though back then. A few hours a day but that’s all there is to do really. Now my time is pretty much committed to being a family man and all that comes with it so getting an hour or so a day is tough but I need to make it happen and the wife and boss at work are on board making sure I can get it so I’m very grateful. Getting proper rest is big for me as I’ve never been a sound sleeper always wake up every few hours at night but I’m hoping that getting more active will help with that. I never knew how important recovery is when lifting and always thought the harder you go the better so I never took it seriously. I’ve definitely changed my thoughts on that after reading and hearing what others have said so I appreciate the feedback focused on that. I wouldn't add an oral before I'd consider adding another oil, but again, we'd need a log to figure out what's best for you.
