I am new on the forum. A little background on me….. I am a 47 year old married dad of three kids. 12 and 10 year old boys and a 4 yr old girl (not that it matters I guess). I was a trainer back in my early 20’s and over the years I’ve studied and researched diet and training since then so I’m pretty aware of what needs to be done in that sense.
Back in my early 20’s (when I was a dumb kid still) I did a short 6 week cycle of deca and dbol. Fast forward to 2014, I was 37 yrs old and decided I wanted to do a fairly low dose of test cyp. My plan was to stay on for 10 weeks and then get blood work to see what my levels were but I never did. I was on 125mg a week of test, clomid (don’t remember the dose), and arimidex after.
In 2016 (39 yrs old) I wanted to do it again. This time I got my bloodwork first and my test was 323 ng/dL. I never ended up doing it.
In January of 2020 I was at my lowest point of my life physically and mentally. I was drinking at least a six pack a day and 3 or 4 days a week it was 10-12 beers, whiteclaw, or vodka. I was also eating fast food at least twice if not three times a day. I am 6’2” and I ballooned up to 265lbs and for my me, that is obese. I made the decision that I was done with all of it and got super strict with my diet, weighing everything I ate and started running. In September I did a challenge called 75HARD, two workouts a day, strict diet, gallon of water, and read 10 pages of a self help book everyday. That was over December 5th and I was 183lbs.
Since then I stopped running and my diet wasn’t great so I gained some weight and got up to 195-200lbs but lost pretty much all the muscle I gained so in reality I put on probably 25lbs of fat. A few months back I decided to get back into it and have been completely strict with my diet and training and I’m at 170lbs now.
I want to start a low dose of test cyp again because with how low my test levels were 8 yrs ago I’m sure they are lower now. Even with the strict diet and training I have zero energy, zero sex drive, always tired, and overall just feel blah. To be honest and I know I am probably going to get shit for this but I’m not going to get bloodwork first. Just looking for some suggestions on test and AI dosages.
I apologize for the novel but I just wanted to hopefully answer some of the questions I would be getting.
