I work odd hours and only really have time to lift at around 10-11pm at night. Do you think its a bad idea to workout so late or it doesnt make much of a difference?

as humans we evolved to sleep at night and be in our shelters... not to be working out

unfortunately work is work though. so as non-optimal as it is you have little choice if that is the only thing you can do

i can tell you that people who work night shifts at jobs lead miserable lives, in the long run it is not worth it and YOU WILL run into health problems working nights and trying to sleep during the day.

Working out late at night is better than not working out at all. If that is when you can fit it in the go for it. You never know when things will change in your life and your schedule will become more flexible.

The only bad workout is the one that didn't happen.

It's not optimal but that's life. Just make sure not to consume a pre-workout supplement that contains caffeine before your workout because that'll negatively impact sleep

If its the only time you can train then stick to that. But if you can get a better schedule I would focus on that!

Sometimes I think Steve and I were raised by the same people in the same household.

100% agree with this.

I will add that as humans we are able to adapt and become pretty used to just about anything to survive. The long term is my issue.
