Overtraining symptoms...

If I train more than 4 times a week I feel weak and exhausted all the time.

Overtraining is easy on aas. But as stated your body will let you know. Fatigue, platea,no motivation i think its easier to overtrain when lifting heavy vs moderate. At least for me

The tell tale sign is a resting HR rate 7+ BPM higher than normal

I usually lift 3 days on 1 off in the first part of the week, then I go 1 on, 1 off, for the second part of the week to try to get some more rest in. I get really burned out of I go straight through 3 on 1 off every cycle.

I just finished a 12 week 7 day/week program and I felt amazing through the whole thing. Overtraining is real but I believe that most people never really reach that point. They complain about lethargy and all these symptoms when really its the combination of the diet and training that dictates how you feel and recover (and yes aas is in there too). If you supplement, eat right, and listen to your body when you train...anyone can train much more frequently without overtraining.

Lately I've had to switch up my training to try and avoid the high school / weekend warrior crowd. I much rather take a day off & have the whole gym to myself the next day than get a shitty workout bc everything is taken on mondays, etc...

I rarely train arms lol. I do once a week but my arms have good definition plus like others you work them doing other exercises.

There is a guy at my gym. He is very big BTW. But he does the sane two things every time he is there. Flat bar bench and one arm preacher curls. EVERYTIME. I have never seen him do anything else. And oh ya ha has tiny legs like his calf is the size of my forearm. I don't get it.

If it works for him.... I do feel like I over train some bigger parts. I do extra exercises for some like back, chest, shoulders. So I usually take a day in between. I try not to overtrain my arms & core bc they get worked in all other exercises. I don't really do legs bc they are fatties, but I'm sure I'd need rest for those, too.

If I feel sore after a deep stretch, I try to take time off. It seems to do better than force a workout in for me.

Ya except he has a HUGE upper body with twig legs literally. He is a bouncer at a local bar here. It would be so easy to beat him. All u wud have to do is give him a little push he would fall right over.
