I have read on other steroid forums that guys will use oxytocin to enhance their mood and to get more benefits out of their cycle. Could you guys elaborate on how this works and if this is even legit and still being done?
Reading this and knowing a person who used oxy as a pain reliever for cancer.. Bodybuilding related, I'd be highly doubting it. The sound of that sounds crazy. Though I may be proven wrong.
NOT a good idea at all. Pain killers are extremely addictive. Your body becomes dependent on them very fast. If you want a cognitive boost before your workout, supplement with 3 tablets D-spark from n2bm.com + a b100 vitamin + a hot cup of green tea.
I was just going off common knowledge .. So was close to it, but didn't have a compromise proposition ... Muskate, you are quite knowledgable man. Dead set know it all.. Almost !!
It is always a dangerous idea to use compounds for purposes different from their original ones. Oxytocin is a very stron pain killer, and it should not be used for mood enhancement, just like clenbuterol is a bronchodilator, and should not be used for fat loss. There are a lot of side effects waiting for you if you use drugs for wrong purposes.

those are guys who use horrible form for years and instead of correcting it and learning how to lift the right way, they just hop on painkillers for life. STUPID!! don't do it
The pain killer OxyContin is a highly regulated pain killer and completely different from the natural body hormone Oxytocin that the OP was referring to. This thread got off track immediately.
Oxytocin - best used as a reconstituted peptide powder with subQ injections in very small doses.
Try doing a search here (as well as a general Google... John Crisper's site has a couple good threads) on oxytocin - and not oxycontin.

Hahaha I was also wondering the same thing. I think everyone just got confused between Oxycontin and Oxytocin! I was also curious about the Oxytocin.. because I know it's used in women to speed up labor but I also heard a lot of men use it for mood and also I guess it the nasal spray has pheromones that attracts the opposite sex. I thought that was interesting! Not that I'd ever need it because I'm married but.. for any single person out there.. worth checking out!
