Peppermint tea

I started drinking peppermint tea before a lift and i swear it helps me stay just as alert as coffee. Anyone else give it a go?
 
Warm drinks rev up the central nervous system and increase alert fullness. Similar to how a warm bowl of oatmeal wakes you up in the morning.

Try a cup of green tea before your next workout. Awesome for increasing cognitive function :)

It doesn't. It is, however, good for the digestion. Try Ginger tea instead.
 
probably just the caffeine but at the end of the day you don't need tea, coffee, preworkouts etc. you should be mentally focused without using anything for a workout.

It is caffeine free. Peppermint tea is considered an herbal tea and most herbal teas are caffeine free. Not to say there isn't a peppermint tea out there that has caffeine, I'm not sure. But most Peppermint tea you get will not have caffeine.
