Peptides for Healing and Recovery

I've dealt with shoulder issues for years from playing sports and lifting. Usually I'll ice it and rest it a while and I'm good to go.

Well I tweaked it a couple weeks ago and the pain has been debilitating. I can't lift, I can barely sleep and I have limited use of my left arm due to the severe pain in my shoulder. I visited an Ortho earlier this week and an MRI confirmed both a torn rotator cuff and labrum. I have a follow up to discuss treatment options tomorrow and I'm certain the only option for full recovery is going to be surgery.

All I can think about is the time off from the gym, the muscle loss, the recovery. Will I ever get back to 100%? All these things scare the shit out of me to be honest and I already feel some depression setting in.

I'm trying to stay positive and start
looking ahead to think about rehab and recovery. I know there are peptides like BPC 157 and CJC 1295 that are great for healing and recovery. I'm curious if anyone has any experience with using these post surgery to aid in recovery.

I'd love to try physical therapy and peptides without surgery but based on the amount of pain I'm in and the extent of the injury, I'm afraid that won't be a option.

i've used peptides for healing.
i've also done things like prolong fasting as everyone knows. they help, but they aren't gonna produce miracles.
again, it helps bring down inflammation which helps. fasting and certain peptides also boost HGH in the body which speeds up repair. but it isn't going to cure a ripped shoulder or herniated disc when you are continously pounding away at the gym

your shoulder is gonna need to heal and if you do not require surgery (which i highly recommend NOT doing) then the only way to heal it is to leave it alone. eventually that hole will fill by the body

unfortunately this means A LOT of time away from the gym man. NFL qbs with shoulder injuries (look at drew brees for example) took many months away from their sport to rest. and they have access to the best doctors and orthos. so you will need to take time away. my strategy here is just take a couple months off, go for walks/hikes and that sort of thing. bicycling too in conjunction with stretching and improving mobility. you can do fasting, and run tb500, bpc, and a GHRP too if you wish. or just get some HGH

then do yoga for a couple months, improve your flexibility and mobility. then gradually make your way back in the gym but go super light. accept you may never lift heavy again and its OKAY.

its also important to understand WHY this happens to weightlifters. when you weight lift you DECREASE flexibility and mobility. this means you open yourself up to these types of soft tissue injuries. add steroids to the mix and it makes the risk worse. i hope people reading this take my advice and stretch DAILY and do yoga to offset this

the two best are by far tb500 and bpc157... cjc is fine but would not be anywhere near as effective... i just posted a video about the ultimate sarms and peptides healing stack you should watch..

bpc and tb are extremely effective in help to speed up the recovery process and are integral pieces in a recovery stack... they work extremely well in this regard... definitely check out the video

I have used both with great success in the past. My use was mainly with more nagging injuries, tendinitis flare ups and things of that nature but the healing and recovery I was able to obtain was very much worth it

bro i took 3 month from gym after tanker accident, they gave me disability. i gots out of shape, but when i gots back i got into shape within 2 weeks. yo be fine chin up

Thanks for all the feedback. I definitely understand that nothing is going to work miracles and it's going to take time and rest to recover.

I'm not cycling, I'm only running TRT at 125mg a week. I'm currently on a natural cut (aside from TRT) working on getting to about 10-12% bf in preparation for a bulk next year.

I have a couple bottles of Ostarine on hand from a previous cycle. I'll pick up some TB and BPC and will run that during recovery.

I'd prefer to avoid surgery but it sounds like the only option. The ligament is torn away from the bone and the doc said it will not heal completely on its own. He comes highly recommended as one of the best sports injury docs around and surgery is his last option. I know plenty of guys that have seen him and he did not push them into surgery.

For the first 4-6 weeks I won't be able to do much of anything, I'll have to try to keep my arm and shoulder completely immobile. Likely 4-6 months to be back to upper body push/pull exercises.
