Good info here. I agree 100% donating blood will not fix a shit diet and lifestyle. It's a "both, and" conversation for sure.Donating is important, especially when using equipoise, however the concerns long term for cholesterol and blood pressure are very real and should be taken very seriously... Donating blood is not going to rectify those areas... I have extensive work that I have done in terms of cholesterol, heart health etc and so the seriousness I put particularly in that area is serious and may seem over board to some, however IMO it should be taken that serious... regardless, basic lipid panels tell you next to nothing.. It is IMPERATIVE to look at LPa, APoB and particle sizes... The best cardiologists will tell you than you need an advanced or comprehensive lipid panel to really understand and know your risk.. basic LDL, HDL and triglycerides are not going to identify the issues... HCRP is also quite important

Thanks for the additional health markers to consider. I notated them so I can bring them up to cardiologist. I have a phlebotomy appointment on the 22nd. (Referred out)
The following week when I analyze these with my physician I will ask for a referral to cardiologist here in town so I can get in depth on this.
In my family high cholesterol is there. It sucks but at the same time it allows me to consider it in a responsible fashion instead of being reckless.
I see a lot of youngsters get into this without thinking about these things and I don't think it's right. I see a lot of posts like "hey I'm gonna run 600mg test a week for 18 weeks, how much muscle can I put on."
So much goes to the wayside and I think you highlighted some of that here.

yes if there is high cholesterol, you most certainly want to stay on top of it.. i have a large supplemental regimen i do as well.. i may even go a bit over board but i found heredity issues with my LPa and then found plaque in my arteries.. had i not done a CAC score, I would have NEVER known anything about this...Good info here. The issue here @MadStacker is we dont know anything about you. It would be nice for you to share your cycle with us, training diet, in a NEW LOG journal thread. We can discuss your cycle and your need for a potential phlebotomy and why, how your diet is realted to it, how your training and lifestyle is too. Either way, having a log up is a MUST in our community. This way we can help and guide you.
To really guide you we need more info, we need you to share your diet, training, cardio, sleep, supplements etc log with us, full log journal so our guidance is based on facts you provide.
If you want us to really guide you, and we have 100s of years of experience between us, you need to post a LOG Journal with your stats (weight,height,age, years training, cycle history) diet, training, cardio, supplement, sleep details. If you don't log what you eat or train now, open NOTES on phone and start recording it there and paste here. Very easy.
