Hey people I’m new here, just throwing out some info on my situation, feel free to weigh in that would be great.

I’m seven weeks out from elbow surgery and I’m hoping to start a 12 week cycle in about 2 weeks.

I’m aiming for optimal healing no 1 , and no2 just to get back in shape n feel good asap( lose a bit of fat and put on/ save whatever muscle I can.

Training will be limited and gradually increasing over the next 3 months. So I’m thinking a low n slow E cycle with collagen synthesis over a baseline test and maybe throw in some Var at some stage whilst I have time off to do cardio saunas, ice baths etc ( all the things I don’t get time to do working 50 hrs a week ) n heal up this old body ha

Lifting on and off for 20 years and a very active life in construction. Training moderate before injury 3-4 days a week.

Diet - mostly meat n veg , eggs . I ain’t tracking everything to be honest but I look at protein and try to be sensible and get to my 1.5g per day of body weight.

I’m going to be doing a lot of band work and light weights to start with, and then just increase from there weekly. Obviously a lot of it depends on the healing process, but no reason I can’t get my reps in and I guess it’s a good time to check my form n posture.

250mg test E (week1-12)
300mg EQ (week1-12)
100mg Tren E (week 1-12)(front loaded 300)

All oils Split into 2 pins a week

Did Nolvadex and Clomid pct weeks 14-20 tapering off.

Expensive ( for me ) but an amazing experience and results on that cycle. Felt 10 years younger! No problems during or after.

So now it will be my third cycle at 41 and as mentioned above- healing is priority but also would like to gradually get back in optimal shape to return to work in construction.

Proposing ( haven’t sourced yet )

150mg Test E (week1-12)
200mg EQ (week1-12)
100mg Deca (week1-12)
Hcg 500iu ( week4-12) 1000iu(week12-14)
Anavar 10mg 3x daily ( week 6-12)
Pct Nolvadex (week 14 - 16 tapering off)

I may ramp up doses towards the end pending on healing, if that’s a good idea ?

I just approved this thread to be a full LOG and we updated your profile.
why?
To truly recover, you need a full log journal with your diet training cardio sleep and history as well as accountability. Telling you to use this or that steroid without knowing more about you is not going to help you a lot.

Lets go thru the details here.

Cycle:
Testosterone and eq with deca is a good cycle but you would need peptides there to help you recover.
I would redo the cycle like this.

Testosterone enanthate 250mgs/week split dose 125/125
Deca durabolin 200mgs/week split dose 100/100
Bpc157 200mcg 2x day
TB500 2-5mg 2x week
if you have the budget, you can add 2 IUs of HGH/day as well
anavar is possible but not required in this cycle

I would suggest organ liver support like n2guard, its made for steroid users.

PCT, lets discuss that in a bit as at your age and with injuries better you go into self-TRT to keep your hormone levels stable.

i would pick either deca or EQ and i would add hcgenerate into your pct
 
My initial question will be what can we do PRE surgery to ensure a great result after
Should have explained a bit clearer , im 7 weeks post elbow surgery now ( tendon reattachment) Arm is out the sling, but still swollen n stiff.

First three weeks was just rest and pain management ( tapentadol, celexi, ibuprofen, paracetamol)

Last 3-4 weeks have been straightening arm and beginnings of flexible rehabilitation exercises.

In 2 two weeks I expect to be a able to strength train 3kg, goal is to be at 5kg in 5 weeks. Wrist curls, bicep curls, tricep extension and prolonged isometric exercises.

Then hopefully formal training can begin

Did you miss EQ there on purpose , rekon I should go with deca?

I figured since I’ve taken EQ in the past and know I didn’t have any problems with it..

Also at my age I’m a little worried about the sexual side effects of deca, especially post op where I’m down a bit already from the lay off physical activity

Hcgenerate ey? Should I still run Hcg 500IU’s from week 4 -12 , and 1000IU’s 12-14 ?

I did that on the last cycle 2 years ago and I really did like the way it made me feel during and pct was a good transition.

I would stick with deca before adding EQ, not necessary to start @Road2rec :D
but you can add low dose eq 100mgs /week to start to launch it off past week 2

how about training diet? share with us please :D
 
hcg made you feel good but it was also slowing down recovery
you can run testosterone too and feel good right?
 
I like how you're keeping your dosing very minimal
that will allow more control on the cycle
 
Training is rehab exercises on injured arm 5x week atm @LevButlerov.

These include: short isometric band work 2kg wrist curls
2kg hammer curls
2 kg bicep curls
2 kg skullcrushers
12 reps x4 sets
+ nerve sliding and mobility exercise.

Elbow is absolutely humming afterwards but to be expected. Ice n ibuprofen helps


I’m also doing some one arm kettlebell squats, overhead kettle presses, bicep curls , skull crushers with my good arm. Mainly to keep the body pumping and maintain mobility. Blood flow etc. I spend some time doing cardio on the bike 2x a week also.

Post surgery training is obviously limited and very gradual and fukn boring Hahahah….but gotta be sensible with it.

Typical day / diet is-
1st Musili/ Fruit/ Greek yougurt ,coffee
Training
2nd 5 eggs on 1 piece rye toast
Walk the dog
3rd Chicken with rice
Couch
4th Steak / sweet potato / brocolli
Ice the arm/ TV n bed

Sleeping has been a little off lately, prob only getting 6.5-7 hours which isn’t ideal…
But I’m not too worried about it because I have a lot of rest and downtime….
 
test, EQ, deca, and anavar is too much
i would rather you consolidate and run higher dosing

Nah man, I did once for my second cycle at 39 yrs old. It was awesome even at that dose @BodyMonster34

Yeah felt good on the test. I ran the Hcg on the 12weeker after some research in the hopes my natural test production wouldn’t completely shut down. Apparently takes a lot longer to get back up and running at later age.

This healing cycle im thinking only 150mg a week test, with slight larger doses of deca/ EQ… sort of promoting collagen synthesis as a priority for healing the tendon surgery.

Do you rekon my natural test would completely shut down on 150 test
200deca 100 EQ over 12 weeks?
