Guys, guys be nice now. In the world of power lifting meets, yes those reps wouldn't have counted. However, would have made for a nice pump for daum sure.

I admit once I'm done OHP or squating, even deads I do a lot of high reps "cheat" like reps to get that burn and pump...it's amazing.
Today I was OHP did my 3x8, 1.5min rest b/n sets. The quickly half repped 135 x20 Behind the neck press, then 165 x12....amazing pump but yes not a single "complete" rep was performed lmfao.
 
i always start with main lifts.. bench day i start with bench (obviously) pyramid up then down. heres what saturday looked like for bench

bench- 10x135 10x225 10x275 5x315 5x365 5x405 3x455x2 1x475 8x315 10x275 then i max rep 225. best day was 42 reps, usual is 30 at the end

squat day
10x225 10x315 10x365 5x405 5x465 5x500 2-3x550x2 20x315 20x225 20x135

deadlifts
10x225 10x315 5x405 5x500 5x550 2-3x570x2-3 10x275 10x225 - i use pronated grip with straps

I've just always trained heavy. always worked towards hitting my 95% then taper down

these are 3 years old but nothings changed. could probably surpass those numbers now. id get another video but i build my whole basement into a gym and train alone now. no one else is at my level so its hard to find bros to workout with. one time ill get someone to video my squat and deadliest and post it too.

and yeah. wasn't going for powerlifting. i was playing CIS football. thats what i trained for. even now that I'm done i still train for it. now I'm going to have to redeem myself and video another session of full presses lol. which I'm more than game for. stronger now than i was then!

Iether way Juju that shit was impressive imo. Also love the bottom one as well bro, motivates me to go harder for sure

squats 185x5/225x5/275x5/315x5/385x5
Bench
135x5/225x10/275x10
Deads
275x10/325x10/405x5

Working on form and trying to go up 5-10lbs everytime.

I know its not super impressive but it is for me :)
 
Lol bro....5x5 is you do 5 sets of 5 reps of same weight using linear progression (add weight) each session till a plateau is reached.

okay but do you mean for the whole exercise? Like 275 on bench for all 5 sets? Shit bro ima need to work on that lol. It takes me smaller sets to work up to the higher weight

No wraps no belts, high squats, regular bench, and straight leg deads.
Then high squats, front military press seated (no smith just barbell), and bent heavy rows.

Yes whole exercise. Do 5x5 of a weight that's about 82 to 95% of 1 rep max. If you miss, for examplease 5, 5, 4, 3, 3. Next session try 5,5,5, 3, 3 adding a rep each session till you hit 5x5, then add 5lbs.

For sure bro. My next run is tues and ill try and get my family to film a set so you guys can check my form out and critique it as well. I can do 85% im on it bro thanks.
 
Usually a 5x5 style is done 3 days a week. So day 1 squat, day two bench, day 3 deads. However, you could do a fourth day of just Bodybuilding style lifts for reps trying not to effect your main lifts.

Really? I thought it was day 1 squat, military press, bent row. A day off. Then day 2 squat, bench, deadlift. Another day off then repeat. Am I wrong?
