Happy to see the weight moving in the right direction. Of course it is dry after workout Sauna/Steam/FAST.
I just don't want to stress for the weigh in. Last year for the Universe I went from 188 to 165. That's just too much of a drop.
Just looking back all three shows were around 20 lb drops. I would still like to weigh in as welter, that would be 165.25. If I can
be in the low 170s peak week and drop there, it would be ideal. I know there is still fat to lose. Just hoping to achieve a new level
of conditioning.
Good leg workout today. Going thru the motions. Heavy enough to challenge but not heavy enough to get hurt. Have many people chatting
about the progress I have made. I try not to let it get to my head. I have been in the second call out, I have been on the outside looking in.
I am trying to do everything in my power to be in the first call out and compete.
Almost there, another 3 weeks to refine the posing and cut down some more.

Weight has not moved much since last week. Posing coach and other folks say I have gotten tighter
I do see it, legs, arms, chest .. more detail coming in. Less than 4 weeks to get as tight as possible
This morning my bicep workout was the plate loaded curl machine. For abs, I actually did weight ab crunches.
Still need to melt the fat around the belly area. I am noticing my core is getting much stronger. Able to twist better.
I need to be like Chubby Checker and do the twist. See if I can tighten that waist.
For my daily walks I got lucky these last two days, overcast and thunderstorms. So, M-F I am trying to get 20-25K step count.
Sat and Sun I get about 10K or so.
Posing is getting better and better. Here are a few shots. Posing coach says back and legs are much improved from our first visit.

That's a big weight drop there. I weighed in after doing 3 of 5 walks. Still have 2 to do.
It's 3 laps around my neighborhood or about 1.8 miles. It's also HOT. It's in the low 90s when I start
The next 2 laps will be around 100. So, I'm sweating a storm. I re-hydrate with some electrolyte fluids and have my blended protein shake after
the 3rd walk M-Th.
For my early AM workout, things started off well, but an hour and half in I just ran out of gas. I still completed my full workout.
I just was depleted. Had to sit and just rest, mess with my phone, etc. I do believe this is more the heat than the contest cut grind.
Texas heat is just grueling. Going to be 107 on Wednesday. Just have to embrace the suck.
Question for my peeps. What cause hand or finger cramps. Where you almost have this arthritic condition where your fingers lock up.
This is starting to occur and has occurred in the past. Someone said it is Clenbuterol. is that so? Also, in cases of cramping,
I have heard you should take Taurine, is that so?
