Slept much better last night. Got to the gym and saw my squat rack occupied along with the others. So, worked the machines first today. Variety is not a bad thing. Ran out of time on the plate leg press so that got skipped.

Still very hot in Texas. This seems to be the version of cardio that best works for me. Slow steady state cardio.

I think I would like to try the assault bike method interval:
20-30 seconds of intense balls to the walls spin
1-2 minutes of small spin

Maybe 5-10 of those intervals. Not sure how effective it would be on me for fat burning.

One of my neighbors likes to walk too, so we hook up for a 5 mile walk and shoot the shit. Makes the time and heat a little more bearable.
We are developing a good friendship.

My Instagram and Facebook sometime show sweet treats. I try not hover or click thru. If you do, you just get more. It will be fun to open up the diet menu after next week, but I still got a show to do and I want to execute to the best of my ability.

Wednesday Update: Abs / Chest / Shoulders

Holding steady. Still hot here in DFW. Waking up around mid 170s. Walking during the day and re-hydrating I end up around 168 pre-dinner.
I end up eating dinner and drinking plenty of fluids into the evening. I do have my blended protein shake during the week. Fri, Sat, Sun I fast from my coffee protein to evening dinner and only have chunk ice in between. My official peaking begins Saturday morning. My effort to get to welterweight BB, under 165.25. Drying out begins then. I am much closer this time. Saturday, Sunday and Monday workouts are easier.
Tuesday early AM, no work out, I fly out around 10AM. Will get up around 4AM and do the body grooming (shaving). I should be around 166 at that point. From Monday evening to weigh in on Tuesday afternoon, basically do whatever it takes over 24 hours to get to the weight.

From a cycle standpoint, I had my last dose of Tren Ace. My vial went empty yesterday. Not going to open a new one with 2 more injections left in this cycle. Tomorrow will be EQ 150, Mast 200. Saturday will be 100 Test, Mast 200. That will be it for this contest cycle. The orals at the end of next week.

I have posing on Friday afternoon, I do need to pack for the trip. Will do this weekend. I'm ready to get there and do it. We shall see what happens.
Maybe I get lucky. I do think I have done everything right. You could always be even leaner, but at this point, I'm not sure how to get leaner unless I switched to fish. I don't like fish.

With less than a week to go, everything seems to be falling in place. My brain starts thinking this is the last week I have to do so much cardio, etc.
It is overwhelming, but if want to succeed and achieve something new, you have to push your boundaries.

Another 104 degree day, its 8pm and still 100 outside. Wanted to get some more steps in, but just was like enough. Next week starting Monday the highs are going to drop to the upper 90s.

I'm anxious to see how things are going to look next week. I'm much closer to the target weight. I also am very watery in general. I really want to be fuller and more vascular on stage. I don't know how it's going to turn out. I've worked hard enough, I'm going to enjoy it. I pushed my limits, I do think I have improved so we shall see.....
