Weight is going up. My walk friend returned from his trip. We did our 5 mile walk this morning We have good conversations and have developed a healthy friendship. As I'm in off-season, I am now chatting with people I meet at the gym, etc. and trying to network and develop friendships. Its easy to be a loner especially as a bodybuilder. It is healthy thing to do, you have to step out of your comfort zone. Just saying hey let's grab a meal & catch up.
Sept and Oct will be months where I would like to just maintain strength 225 bench and 315 squat. I'm still doing 225 on the squat. Hoping I'm ready for 315 later this month.
I am eating whatever I want, I'm trying to make healthier versions of those items, but I am just trying to just enjoy life and food for a while.
We did make blueberry kefir muffins ( I do miss fruit, so have been incorporating fruits into the sweets) , also trying some new foods as well. Mu social media feeds had all this food and desserts. I think I clicked or hovered over them too long these last few weeks. I am intrigued though by using sugar replacements, flour replacements. I've seen some recipes using brown bananas or pitted dates in place of flour/eggs:
The blueberry muffins:

Sunny Side Egg in feta cheese on avocado spread egg white tortilla, I later saw a version where they add pesto on the feta befor the egg. Oh my god!:

I've purchased lower calories and lower sugar options on some raw ingredients. So, just wanting to experiment with some foods at home instead of buying pre-prepared foods at the grocery store.
BTW, I did get a Ninja Creami, I have not made any ice cream in yet. There are a ton of protein ice cream shorts on social media using protien powder and protein drinks and fruits, nuts, flavorings, etc to make low cal healthy ice cream. Be aware its really not an ice cream maker as much as it a ice cream blender that smooths to a desired texture.
I'm thinking of making several flavors
Chocolate or Vanilla Peanut Butter
Pina Colada
Matcha coconut
Blueberry cream
Time to cut loose a little...
