Good tip here bro.If you’re having problems hitting depth you might just have overly tight ankles. I know I have that issue. I always stretch my calves really good before squatting. Seems to help.
@PrinceDaddy you're pretty close to the show, do you want to be a bit tight on the diet?Thursday Update : Traps/Tris/Dumb Bell RDLs
Wake Up @ 203
Post workout @ 200
Step Count: 18K
Androgen Rage : Medium
Cycle Status : Week 4 Clean Bulk Cycle
Show Date : 07/17/2024
Listening to the Omnadren podcast as I write this. Sounds like Sustanon which I have tried but did not like. Too much PIP, not sure if it was the short ester oils in the mix or the UL.
Rain and thunderstorms today so much less walking. A little on the gym treadmill listening to podcasts.
The heaviest top sets are the following
Full stack tricep pull down and overhead extensions with the curve bar and rope so all 4 variations. I usually start at pin 3, and drop 3 slots at a time till I get to the last pin. I'm not going heavier as I notice I will start developing tennis elbow. So I try to auto regulate and make sure I am not slamming weight and having good control.
Shoulder Shrugs with 130lbs dumb bells
9 standing (no belt, just versa gripps)
1 seated shrugs 130lbs dumbbells
1 set of Dumbell Pulls
RDLs
20s,40s,60s,80s,110s,130s.
I will do some lighter tricep work in between the heavier sets. Just trying to make sure I get range of motion, holds and stretches with the lighter weights.
On the diet, I am eating cleaner, just not limiting calories.
Pre-gym
coffee protein with PB powder and egg white
maybe a protein bar midway
Post gym
5 to 6 brazil nuts with vitamins
Greek yogurt
Lunch
Protein smoothies
Protein powder with egg white
Fruit and nut butter are allowed for now
Snack
Nuts
Oat Bran Sesame sticks if I have them
Dinner
small stalk of broccoli raw
Egg scramble or Ground Meat or steak or chicken with the an avocado
Post Dinner
Maybe a protein bar
Maybe another Greek yogurt
At this point, I'm not limiting the number of calories. I eat to feel full. Just try to eat quality foods. Not eating donuts, chips, cakes, candy, pizza, or cookies. If I overdo it, it might be a nut butter or nuts. I will start dry roasting almonds and cashews. I usually bag them in olive oil & rosemary and just roast in my toaster over for about 8 or 9 min.
Early May, I will get much more strict and eliminate the bars, snacking, and nut butters.
Rinse and repeat.
Happy Thursday peeps!
@Eddie Haskell The first show is July 17th so from today@PrinceDaddy you're pretty close to the show, do you want to be a bit tight on the diet?
And the Pigsy will be 55 this year.Me and Princedaddy at 50+
@PrinceDaddy thats not bad 174 but 4 months is not a lot imo. I think starting to contest prep now is the best idea 4mo 16 weeks out. Smooth into the show. You're so close and I think a longer prep will get you to the winner place.@Eddie Haskell The first show is July 17th so from today
4 months and 9 days
18 weeks
131 days
My target weight for the show is 174 as the top end of the middleweight. I am around 200 at this point. I am thinking
I would like to be close to 190 by the end of April.
from May 1 it is 11 weeks, if I am around 190 then with 1 to 2 lb fat loss per week should get me there. I will cut nut butters, fruit, protein bars at that point and become much more cleaner and less ultra processed. I also will employ intermitted fasting as I have done before.
I've been on the cycle for a month now, body is still adjusting to the compounds. I also want to push strength so I don't want to feel a food deficit at this point. Just eat high protein foods. Watch the sugar and carb content.
Those are my thoughts. May change over the next few weeks. I am also not grooming the body hair yet. Usually by the end of March, I start getting rid of the hair. That motivates me to work harder to see the details coming in.
Love the feedback. Thanks!
Appreciate the insight, have been thinking about more work out techniques vs going heavier. More reps and negatives. I may change it up.@PrinceDaddy thats not bad 174 but 4 months is not a lot imo. @PrinceDaddy I agree with you. You know from your multiple shows, and I Followed your logs for years, early prep is important. Early prep for shows makes the show easy.Appreciate the insight, have been thinking about more work out techniques vs going heavier. More reps and negatives. I may change it up.
You are right tho better to be ahead of the target then struggle to get to the target. I may adjust the 2nd half of this month.
Thanks.

Today is banded conventional squats. Top set of 8 (around 8-10 reps each)
I've attached a short clip. I would like to see my rear get closer to my heels.
My squat mechanics on a free form squat sticks my rear out. I am trying to
get to the parallel.
On the back off sets with 2 plates and 1 plates I do get lower and lower with pauses in the hole. Sometime I just like to get into movement pattern where it almost feels like a rubber band and just rep out till no gas in the engine. I feel like my mechanics are much better in the smith machine.
Hopefully all that stimulus leads to leg growth.
The Anadrol has been good these last 4 days, I'll go off the next 3 days and pick up again on Sat. I want to feel some beast mode kick in.
Hope everyone is doing well. One day at time. Let's keep it pumping!
Don’t forget about me.And the Pigsy will be 55 this year.bigger and better than ever
