Proprietary blends yay or nay?

So there has been debate over the past few years of supplement companies using proprietary blends and if that is a good thing or not. I’ve heard points from both sides. Some say it is good cause it protects the supplements ingredients from being stolen, some say it is bad cause they can get away with underdosing. What are your thoughts?

I dont mind proprietary blends from trusted brands like n2bm or banned, I do mind them from fake newbie brands that I dont trust

i think you summed it up but the company should be willing to tell the customer the breakdown or else that is a red flag to me

It is a way to hide behind a sub-par product. If someone wanted to deconstruct the product and recreate it, it really isnt that hard in a lab. With so many high power supplement companies, they would absolutely have the funds to do so.
