Looking to my bigger bros to share knowledge on the addition of AICAR to my GW. I've been on multiple research sitse and got some basics about the pros of these two being combined. Standing by for feedback...

Supposedly there is a synergistic effect when running GW with AICAR, but I have yet to try that myself. GW itself is pretty incredible

Here's a little reading for those wondering' WTF is AICAR? Fairly priced and my understanding is a precursor to activate the GW. I will apply this to my research in the 2nd 4 wks of 8 week run... I will run a detailed log and post comparison for inquiries. Implementation date into program will be 3/1 if any interested followers...

"AICAR, aminoimidazole carboxamide ribonucleotide, acts as an agonist to AMP-activated protein kinase; AMP-activated protein kinase, also known as AMPK, is an enzyme with an important role in cellular homeostasis and energy regulation.[1] AMPK acts through a variety of means to ultimately stimulate liver fatty oxidation, ketogenesis, beta-cell modulation of insulin secretion, and other functions within the body. AICAR has been shown to stimulate glucose uptake and reduce apoptosis by reducing reactive oxygen compounds within cells.[2][3]

In a breakthrough study in 2008, Narkar et al of the Salk Institute discovered that AICAR significantly improves the performance of mice in endurance-type exercise by converting fast-twitch muscle fibers to the more energy-efficient, fat-burning, slow-twitch type. They also found that AICAR and GW1516, when given to "sedentary" mice, activated 40% of the genes that were turned on when mice were given GW1516 and made to exercise.

Def log it bro.. ill follow

there are some benefits there but i have never felt there is enough studies and usage of aicar to use it... I feel using albuterol alongside is a better option unless you are using aicar for some type of event that you are participating in, i don't feel its necessary but i would definitely be interested in a log if you do decided to run it...

I've been unable to find any information studying the possible negative side effects for strength due to the GW:s muscle twitch conversion issue. Any educated answers on this one? I was already about to buy GW, but this information held me off.
