Resting heart rate

So just wondering what your average resting heart rate is guys?

Just about finished a test c and eq/NPP cycle and Clen at one week on and one week off.

I've been off the Clen for a week now and tested heart rate 3 times, I'm sitting at 93 beats. Being so active and training so hard Id thought it would be a lot lower?

I think this varies a lot. My wife and I are both athletic and workout 5 days a week. My resting heart rate is apx 63 and hers is much higher - in the 90s.

if you are in shape it will be lower than the avg couch potato american because it means your heart doesn't have to work as hard when rested.

ironically many bodybuilders who train frequently still have poor heart health because of their drug/steroid use and also cause they simply over eat

Yours is remarkably low, Al5920. Mine is quite low relative to that of most people. But yours is that of a world-class athlete.

I agree, mine is 55-60 early morning, well rested no stressors on my mind etc. sometimes in the lower 50s when diet is perfect and I’m doing a lot of cardio.

40s or sub 40 it’s insane, I honestly didn’t think someone could be below 40 though.

I wanted to also note to you that you’re taking in proper amounts of electrolytes and water.

For example to much sodium is bad, however taking in barely any then flushing it all out water water or sweating isn’t good either. You’re heart uses sodium in part of the electrical process to fire or beat, it also used potassium, calcium, etc.

Your brain - neurons fire electrically through a sodium and potassium ion, so again hugely important.

I say this because one time I was on cycle and I had been drinking very large amounts of water to stay hydrated as it’s important obviously, well within a few days my resting heart rate was 100. I chalked it up to the cycle or high e2, well I was wrong - I ran labs and my electrolytes were low so my heart was not beating properly. I slowed the water down a bit and increased my electrolytes and minerals, returned to normal within 2-3 days.

Just something to think about, plenty of electrolytes if you’re chugging water and sweating like a beast!

What did you use to increase your electrolytes?

Pretty simple, I added in a few extra bananas everyday, a magnesium supplement, and dusted some raw veggies with with table salt.

There’s also some nice powder mixed some sports sites sell but I prefer to get it in food when I can.

We should be taking in a lot of water, we always hear it preached. However there is a such thing as too much water, so well exercising a lot and drinking a ton of water I definitely believe we need an excess of electrolytes.

You can definitely flush everything out of your body.

I consume a gallon per day and shoot for even a bit more, but my salt content is pretty high (sea salt only) and I take a magnesium supplement daily

Yeah you’ll be fine man, when I say over drink I’m talking the guys who chug water from sun up to sun down, all day in huge amounts and then don’t take in enough electrolytes.

Figured I’d point it out to the OP.

I struggle to get down a gallon most days but manage!! A good day is 1.5 gallons and that doesnt happen often. I couldn't imagine trying to get down 2!!

A normal resting heart rate for adults ranges from 60 to 100 beats per minute. Generally, a lower heart rate at rest implies more efficient heart function and better cardiovascular fitness. For example, a well-trained athlete might have a normal resting heart rate closer to 40 beats per minute.

Mine is usually 50-60 BPM

Actually, a guy named Daniel Green set the world’s record for the lowest heart rate relative to healthy human being in 2004 at 28 beats per minute.

Damn tren influences your RHR that much?

It has a potent thermogenic effect...at least on me. Others report the same thing...increased resting basal rates. Not saying it's a good thing, but I believe this is one of the mechanisms at which it causes people to burn more fat. I love Tren...just have to use to sparingly and responsibly.

I dont remember tren raising my RHR that much....

Tren A or Tren E? Dosage?
I'm yet to run A. Going to run it for the first time at the end of November. My experience thus far is with E at a max of 500mg/week. Gonna run the A at 50mg EOD to start with the goose of bumping to 75 or maybe even 100 depending on sides, etc....

Ya for years I just figured it was becasuse I do a lot of conditioning but then I started thinking I better get a 12 lead done to make sure I don’t croak

Makes sense, higher body temp, increased HR, probably contributes to the leaning out.

I’m going to start my first run next Monday, was going to be this Monday but the stomach bug over the weekend plus an ear infection set me back. Didn’t want to take anything extra well on antibiotics because I’ll be adding anavar in as well.

500mg of E damn, how was that dose for you? I’ll be starting around 150mg of A.

I take it the 12 lead was GTG and you just have a phenomenal ticker?

Had surgery recently and the anesthesiologist did one. Everything was fine. He told me my low resting hr was partially due to my conditioning but also genetic

There’s not much explanation there. Basically the doctor was looking for possible low electrical impulses to the heart or “bradycardia.” My heart tested normal but I still measure my resting hr frequently

"Oooh, what a lucky man" Al5920 is. :-)

My sincerest apologies to ELP.
