G’Day!

Jumping on to do my intro post and to help keep me accountable for this next phase of my transformation. New to Evo but been around on BS and ASF boards for a while.

Bit of background to begin with,

Notoriously low TRT levels naturally. Talking total T levels of 5 🤪
Took years and way too long to figure out what was going on but better late then ever. Been on TRT now for around 12 months and it’s really turned my life around! During this 12 months I’ve lost a massive 30kg and can hands down say this is the healthiest and strongest I have ever been in my life at 30 years old.

Maxed out at 123kg and for the last 2 weeks have been hovering between 89.5 and 90.5kg so think I’ve found my maintenance calories. Plan now is to really try and bulk back up to somewhere around 95kg & put on some size/recomposition.

Still carrying the tiniest amount of lower body fat that seems to be the most stubborn thing in the world to lose , but hoping it will continue to improve as we go.

Protocol is going to be the below (open to feedback/suggestions)
400mg Test E
250mg Primo E
Originally was going to do 500 Test / 300 Primo but it meant my 3x pins a week MWF would be over a ml and wouldn’t fit into my insulin syringes. Do we think I should revert back to the higher dose and get bigger syringes / tough it out and just double pin?

Start with 40mg Var daily (split into 2 doses)

Also received some Adex to keep on hand incase of any sides sneaking in.

First half of the goodies arrived in 2 days after shipping! @DofRandD has been an absolute pleasure to communicate and deal with, very helpful with questions I’ve had and great to have a general chat with.

Training wise I’m probably a bit of an anomaly here compared to most of the guys, I do CrossFit 4-5 times per week as an average and try to squeeze in 1-2 5km runs a week to help with cardio. Planning on posting in the log 2-3 times a week with a breakdown of the workouts I’ve completed along with any extras I’ve done before/after class, and will also post up PBs / 1RM max’s as I hit them!

@Pigsy @StevenDarwinMD are you able to help with getting my status / log updated to approved logger ?

too many hop-on trt when they don't really need it but in your case you definitely needed it

Hey bro welcome to Evo,

I’m going to pick apart your protocol and help you make an informed choice on what to do.

400mg test e
250mg primo e
280mg anavar (40mg a day)
Arimidex in case of E2 sides

Going from 125mg true TRT to 400mg will be a big jump. I would at 200mg test which will definitely jump test levels up to a point where you will feel a substantial difference. As you progress through the cycle every 2 weeks, add 50-100mg until you reach your desired dose.

Precautions for test
E2 may or may not present itself as issue for you, as I dont know your blood work or body, however I would recommend blood work to dictate the use of a AI. Especially if you will be running primo.
I would recommend shooting ED.. the serum concentration is more stable, where as Bi Weekly injections will cause peaks and trophs. With these peaks and trophs comes E2 peaks and trophs. Spike up test in bolus amounts, the body will create an equal reaction to spike up E2. This obviously depends on your aromatase enzyme activity. Hence why blood work is important. I would recommende start @200mg broken into 7 shots per week, if you are unable to do 7 shots, break down into 4 or EOD. I will guarantee you will reduce E2 spikes. The body likes homeostasis. Big amounts twice per week will create an unwanted reaction.

Primo - fantastic compound. Slow gainer, clean tissue gains and very anabolic in high doses. 250mg of primo anecdotally you wont see a huge change as it shines on the higher end of dosing. However primo is metabolised and creates AI like metabolites, which inhibits e2 conversion at the ER which prevents gyno, and will will inhibit the conversion of E2 from test. Allowing more free test activity. In saying this it may crush your E2 depending on your reaction. Blood work again is key, but primo at that dose will not create aesthetic look but rather act close to a AI. You may get SOME tissue gain, but will minimal. Liver enzymes may elevate but I wouldn’t be too concerned at that dose.

Anavar is fantastic as well, however I would start at 20mg a day. Pre workout or split morning and pre workout. It’s DHT so it won’t convert to e2, it will help covert t4 into t3 to drive fat loss, glucocorticoid inhibiting so you get less mineral retention and thinner skin, and will drive up sympathetic drive during workouts. Watch liver enzymes however anecdotally it has shown to have minimal effect if your diet and supplementation is on point to allow your body to function optimally.

I would recommend starting at 200mg test and 20mg anavar for now, slowly ramping up test to your tolerance without the use of a AI as they do have health implications. We need e2 for many benefits for males. I won’t get into it other wise this post will be too long. But that will be my recommendation for now

Thanks for the detailed info!
If it’s not too much hassle could you pick apart the protocol again and provide your suggestions , I should have mentioned (my bad) I did start on 125mg week when I was doing proper TRT, the last 3-4 months I’ve been running @ 250-300mg week with no side effects and blood markers all looking healthy.

So with that in mind, I’m keen to go “all in” without going too crazy and don’t mind jumping my T dose up to the next level you think I would benefit from? And also happy to increase Primo dose to wherever it needs to be.
Is there a certain 1:1, 2:1 ratio etc of Test to Primo we should be basing it on?

generally the more steroids you use the more side effects
that's the issue that you want to be careful of

at the end of the day if you want to cycle learn to use 25G needles. insulin pins just won't work long term anyway
