Today was the start of a taper that will last 3 weeks. Going to try and max out at as close to 365 on the incline bench as possible by years end. Cut all tricep work out today and will only do a couple tricep exercises on arm day if at all. Might even skip arm/delt day until after the year to help the taper. If not we might just go really light and deload on those days just to keep blood pumping and recovering from everything else. I felt so strong on my pec/dec fly machine today. Able to do the stack with perfect form with nice long stretch and hold on top and bottom. Felt explosive. Probably not going to do them next week and help the taper even more.

Also went to a powerlifting meet this weekend. Man all I could think of is I want to get on that platform and compete and see how far I can go. I really want to break those records. I would have a fun time going up against the 20 year old crowd. Would be fun to smoke em!!! Planning on possibly looking for a powerlifting meet in Mid May which would be about 12 weeks into my next cycle. Most likely going to be a Test/Primo cycle as I dont want to gain any muscle mass. I need to be able to stay under 220 lbs for the competition so I will have to do a water cut to make weight when I do it. Ok everyone have a nice strong week ahead and get Strong AF!!!

Had a pretty easy day today. Last day of deadlifts before attempting 625-645 in about 2 weeks. Will be going some heavier close grip triples tomorrow followed by something else really light to taper the body some more so we can hit some 365 close grip benches by years end. No this is just tendonitis that I have had for years. Comes and goes. Today completely fine like no problem at all. Feel 110% today!!!

Another day of peaking and hitting another all time best on my incline bench. Went up to 350 for a single. Could have done more but I want to see how high I can get by the years end so I have 2 more sessions left to peak to the fullest. Feels good to have zero shoulder pain today. Took a meloxicam last night and it completely took care of the inflammation. I can imagine my body will probably start twitching from all the energy being stored up from tapering so much. Feels good on the body. Almost like a deload but better as peaking for heavy lifts is alot more fun. I will be back on Friday for possibly attempting 635 on my conventional deadlift. I will at least attempt to do it. If I fail I will most likely hit it the following week as my body will at least know what the weight feels like. Ok everyone have a good finish to the week.

Maybe play some really hardcore music and really get angry.

That will get you pumped up and then you'll be hitting it like a maniac.
 
Maybe you need to take some sort of pre-workout steroid, maybe TNE or maybe even cheque drops?

I know both are pretty toxic, but you'll definitely get some anger and be able to push some big weight.
 
I wouldn't rush things, your body is going to get stronger and you'll be able to get it.
Of, we believe in you.
 
You're still getting strong and you're still cutting down the weight.

I think things are turning out really good.
