Yes, but I like following a plan that I know works. Sometimes you gotta tweak as you go. Cuz sometimes the body isn’t gonna get it done. So gotta work smart too. Listen to your body. If you change up stuff too much you don’t get the results or you don’t know what’s gonna work or not if you don’t Follow through.

Had good close grip bench today. Was able to crank out 80% of 1RM for 5x5 even did some pause reps on my last set. Will do same weight 5 sets next week and increase the reps. So 2 weeks sane wt. Then increase weight for 2 weeks. Gonna follow this type cycling for now. Do reps on the rest of my sets. Gonna stick with my current diet. Watch amount of carbs as the Semaglutide works out of system. Keeping my meals small frequent. Focus on protein/veg! Have a good weekend. Happy Lifting! 💪🌸

Time to dial it down. Will commence Strength training cycle. Today I think my blood sugar got low. Increased volume. I got lightheaded toward end of workout. Bit of nausea. We usually have little Gatorade with electrolytes in water bottle and we top it off with refills at the gym. Mr didn’t add the Gatorade. We were just gonna split a full sugar Monster but we got to car and were none left!! Gym only sold sugar-free energy drinks 🤷‍♀️ oh well. Everything felt a bit heavy today even though it shouldn’t have. But we worked through it. Body is ready for a break from maxes.
This last Monday was last week of Semaglutide so 5months i did hit my 140lb goal but since I’m moving down a weight class still need to shed 6 more real pounds. Lol. Really not used to this weight. So will need to keep building strength and watch diet close. So ready for the heartburn to be gone!! Perhaps a powerlifting meet in May. Hope everyone got some family time without too much stress. New years nearly here! Get your goals peeps! 💪🌸🎉

Today was a long grueling leg day. Lots of volume. Did less weight going for 5x5 squats. I struggled a little with 1set @215lbs. Dropped 10lbs to 205lbs it moved Better. Little disappointed though that it felt difficult. Remind myself the being off the extra PEDs and the weight loss combo and having just done a taper, likely gonna feel a bit weaker. Losing weight bodyfat and you lose muscle also. It’s inevitable! But I’ve been working really hard to not lose the strength and the hard earned muscle.! So just gotta accept the reality. I see how you guys (men) get so attached to your PEDS and want you stay on them. Cuz the strength factor is so real and powerful. So hopefully this next cycle really pushes me towards my goals. Happy lifting! 💪🌸

Had good day on incline bench. Pushed my weight got my 5x5 with 135lbs did NOT use elbow sleeves was able to do pause reps. Elbows feel ok no issues. Now yesterday was leg day and my glutes & my back are feeling it. Volume on squats adding back accessory movements Ikes! Me RR says “the pain is weakness leaving the body.” Lol. So let the strength gains continue people! Happy New Year 🥳🍾🎊and be safe out there!! 💪🌸

Had really good exhausting Workout Deadlifts!! Nearly 2.5 hours! We did the 5x5s working on speed, then added light pause squats! It was nice after 275 Deads going to squatting 155! Felt kinda light. Lol. Working on speed out of the hole for squats. Plan on doing 2 weeks at this weight before increasing the working set weight on Deads. Shoulders and arms tomorrow. Everybody have a good weekend. Was a good session today kept the wt same on closegrip at 150lbs upped reps to 6 did Not use my elbow sleeves just used wrist wraps and belt. I will likely Increase this wt next week. Arms & shoulders feel pretty good. I think the 2iu HGH is been nice for recovery steady with 10mg TRT. Body weight is sideways right now. My resting heart rate is going down I think this is a result of stopping Semaglutide. Had been up to 72-73. Creeping down 70 now. Should stop into 60s. That’s good. Rest day tomorrow. Might go in swim few laps and hot tub. Mr RR was a swimmer and been trying to get him to include a 1-2 days a week swim few laps. He burns calories like crazy when he swims. He was an all American swimmer In School. Me on other hand sucks in the pool. I Fight that water! But burns calories just really hard for me to do for any length of time. Ok happy lifting 💪🌸

Sister @RoidRageWife I read before @RoidRage69 was a big swimmer back in the day, its perfect to get cardio in and good for joints :D
 
i like swimming but i don't like public pools with the chlorine and people pissing in it lol

i prefer the ocean on a flat day

I didn't know hubby was a professional swimmer. That is really cool.
I always thought he was more of a trucker type.
