It's a wreck most of the time in there. The younger people leave shit all over the place. How hard is it to put shit away when you are done???

I hate it when people don't put their shit away. I don't care if they wipe it down or not just put the weights back in the holders.
 
not wiping down equipment is disgusting
 
I own two gyms and it's not young people who leave the weights laying around it's actually more to older people believe it or not
one person does it and then others will start doing it that's the way it works

I’m lucky to have PT who does his clients at the 2 CrossFit gyms when not in use. Basically like having a pvt space. Of course there are no machines and everything to improvised and replicated using CrossFits items/ equipment. But PT knows his stuff I’m in good hands. 🙌

I have a side membership at Planet ( 2 near me) and for the most part they are good. The problem is one gets very busy with kids and there’s not enough free weight benches etc.

I found the other location is much better.

I think planet was designed for people who sign up and never go. But where I live there’s plenty of bros using it cuz it’s cheap.Everything is extraordinarily expensive in the Bay Area. So a Bro loves a deal I guess😄 meanwhile

24 hour is a nightmare no matter what.
And a local discount chain Fit 19 had so much crap crammed into so little space with people tripping over each other .

People give me anxiety I need to be alone working out. 😱

What I have never seen in the Bay Area gyms though is the bad behavior I’ve seen on YouTube perpetrated by both “ bros” who act like jerks and by “influencers “ who should be dropped into active volcanoes.
People here are generally well behaved and properly socialized.
And of course if the gyms in SF proper are just full of assorted gays socializing lol.
