Veteran Thread Samson Dauda Wins Mr. Olympia 2024 Amazing!

From a personal level I really like Wesley. Very likeable character. But again not sure he can push on next year he just never seems to come in well for Olympia. But there’s a competitor from the uk called Niall Darwin. Guy has awesome proportions and insane muscle bellies. Could be a weapon within a few years.

I had Samson winning for sure
- rounder and fuller, balanced condition with fullness well
- better condition overall
- better symmetry and flows extremely well
- looks to be peaked 100%

Only flaws I saw really was
- hamstrings needed more drop
- lower abdomen control IMPROVED but not the best

Hadi is smaller. It’s seems to me maybe a diuretic was used to shred him down. Legs are smaller, looked extremely flat in the chest, back and rear end overall wasn’t as crisp.

The diuretics and water manipulation have to be so frustrating when it doesn’t pan out
If it’s not on point it’s like going fishing with wrong bait. It will be a disappointment

Derek's quads looked less diced then the other 2 boys though as well. Hadi legs came in crazy.

I think just the sheer size advantage Samson has is something that will be unmatched for years to come. And the conditioning he brought to stage this year is a testament to that. Moving forward it’s going to be so hard to beat especially if he keeps progressing. I think Derek peaked too early and I do think haidi looked on point this year just hard to beat someone just as conditioned who’s 5” taller with the same amount of muscle mass if not more. And Samson nailed his peak he was so dialled in this year and is almost showcasing a package we haven’t see in open bodybuilding in years. Big fan of this years Mr O and am so excited to see what Samson can bring to stage next year

its something he can treat easy

agreed, @Borristheblade but I think Derek has a bigger chance if he leans out more, he's not coming in peak shape at all, not what he can do.

Gyno just happens part of the sport. Ronnie won an Olympia with it. I like watching Samson, needs to be addressed before getting worse

He's pretty big in 2018. Maybe 230-240? I know he is tall. Now he is close to 300.
Everything grew. Lats, arms, delts, and legs all filled out.

I hope he is able to keep his waist tight. Simply amazing.

Hadi was good as well. I have always noticed all things being equal conditioning, size, structure the bigger guy typically wins.
Looks like Derek's instagram pictures looked incredible coming into the show. Maybe some water issues at the end.

Nice to see players moving around.

If we could all grow like that in 6 years? Great genetics, gear, coaching, and sheer desire and hunger.
