Afternoon all,

Listen to the podcast pretty much daily so just wanted ask a few questions to the experts.

Currently on a cut to get down to 10 percent body fat, then want to go on a lean bulk to put some mass on.

I'm currently 160lb, i know i need to eat, my maintenance calories is around 2700 - 2900. Wanting to do the cycle as I've always been lean, find it so hard to gain decent mass, and as Steve says on the podcast, am fed up for being the skinny kid.

I'm 37 with years of training and dieting under my belt, when i started training i was around 112lbs. Want to run it safely so have narrowed it down to this -

Test 250mg
EQ 100mg
Anadrol 25mg 4 weeks (would be dbol but dont like water weight.)

Will have aromasin and nolva on hand for any issues.

How's the cycle look? Will that put mass on me in a calorie surplus, or would i need more for my goals?

Honestly I would just run 500/wk test.
EQ at 100mg/wk is pretty much useless.
Run the anadrol when lifts stall later in the cycle.
 
Glad to see the podcast has you motivated. There are many options but when you use gear you are shutting yourself down either way. So best thing to do is run the gear at a moderate dose.

So if you want to use eq do it 300mg. Same with test.

If you want an oral I would do a mild one like Tbol or var even though you want to bulk so you don’t have crazy sides

You're cutting now as I see but really the bulk should flow into the cut bro
but to do that we would really need to understand your cut better and you right?
example we tell you yea 250mgs test and eq and anadrol do it but maybe not?

Maybe a stupid question....

When on cycle, do you eat more calories than a normal 200/300 increase for a bulk?

I'm aware that aiming for around a lb or so a week/month is common for a lean bulk when not on cycle, but with the steroids adding water weight and mass, how do you calculate your calories?

Or is it the same when on cycle as opposed to off?

Cheers guys. Yea podcast basically addicted to haha.

Reading other people's questions on the forum, I'm leaning towards 500mg test and 40mg tbol as a kick-start.

I'm already on trt so shutting down isn't an issue.

Once I've finished the cut will no doubt start a log.

When growing start at maintenance and add 200-300cals. You will start gaining weight. When that stalls add 200-300 more. Don't just pick a number and start eating, that's how you get fat.

Thanks mate, know how much i need to add weight, when on a cycle, how much weight gain per week shoukd you aim for? Or is it just check in mirror etc

Trying to gain X per week is another way to get fat. As long as your weight is trending up and what you see in the mirror looks good then your on the right path. For me, my maint is around 2500cals. If iI push much over 3000 i get fat. My preference is a longer cycle with the lowest amount of food you can bet away with to grow. Of course we are all different and the way we gain muscle/fat will vary but when building or dieting, anything that happens fast is not good. Slow and steady both building and dieting is the way to go.
Get a log going so we can see your current diet/training and help guide you into the right cycle. Post some physique pics as well.
