Self trt advice

Hey all,

Been reading a few posta and wanted to create a thread to ask about doing self trt.

Little background and medicals.

Precovee liftee quite a bit. more so power lifting but 6 days a week. During covee everything shutdown hear so I ended up buying equipment but it took 6 months to come.
I started doing alot of BJJ during the past couple years and my weight training took a backseat. I would say about 5 days a week 2 hours day training.

I'm wanting to get more into strength training again and find a balance. Due to injuries seeming to happen easier and strength going down. I work construction and always usually have good stanima.

Anyways 39 y.o., 200lb, 5'11"

I was feeling real tired a few weeks back, and with it came poor mind and body. I went to doctor and had blood work. Can't find the sheets right now but first test came well below, then took another test in the morning and the levels were slightly above the threshold. They are very reluctant in Canada to give anything or even refer to Endo and it seems like months to get anything done so I'd rather just do it myself and get blood work done every so often.

Diet is not the greatest, basically eat one big meal in the evening and maybe smaller one during day. Trying to do lots of protein, we bought a full cow so lots of beef.

What's a good start for amount and type of trt?

For energy is there anything to recommend or just get your lazy azz and work 😃.

Thanks

It's pretty much the same here in Australia, you can got to a private TRT clinic but then your looking at like 300 per month.

As much as you want to get your levels back up, I'd recommend getting on top of your diet first. 3-6 months solid, then I'd look at starting your trt.

Without your results it's hard to tell. Diet can really impact everything, test levels can improve with diet. I know it's nothing great but while you're working on the diet you can get a natural test booster. Then get bloods redone and go from there.

Remember TRT isn't a cycle it's a life decision, i myself have been toying with it for a while, I've got my diet and training in check and consistently so I should reap the benefits more than someone who hasn't.

As most will say post a log, with as much detail as possible and from what I r seen the advice will come

Good luck dude

Ok. Look at lifestyle first. Over worked, tired and stressed will knock your test levels. Then diet (you say it could be better) needs fixing. Ditto fat levels. Higher levels will affect test levels. Fix those and get retested BEFORE looking at self TRT

Diet and lifestyle play a huge role especially as you age... if you dont address these first, then you are spinning your wheels.. not to mention, its not just cut and dry on trt doses.. it comes down to your levels, lifestyle etc.. its not just a random answer that gets thrown out there but the lifestyle changes need to come first

A bad diet can have a very negative effect on your testosterone numbers as well as your overall health in general. I agree this needs to be addressed first because it could have a direct effect on your number in general

you need to get your diet and training on point first. Then I would start at 150-200mg weekly and see how you feel... CHeck out @domestic-supply.com for everything you need bro

if you want self trt you need a good quality source that is reliable

start with 90-125mgs a week. make sure you run bloods to balance things out

welcome to evolutionary.org, we are happy to have another TRT brother on here.

self-TRT is easy but needs monitoring and a FULL LOG posted so we can follow your diet and training to make adjustments. Especially you don't have a diet log right now.

General self-TRT
125-150mgs testosterone enanthate/week split into 2 injections
5 caps n2guard/day (organ liver support)

I suggest starting around 100-150mgs test range that's the sweet spot and move from there. Check the Canadian Domestic guys we have for test like Nordic or Syn:
https://www.evolutionary.org/forums...sion-canada-official-review-thread-86923.html
https://www.evolutionary.org/forums...-domestic-only-source-evo-approved-81450.html

And start keeping a LOG journal on phone of your training and your diet, especially diet needs to be meals and food. It's crucial to dial that in.

Please post a Log Journal asap for us

100-150mgs testosterone is basic self trt and a LOG is required

start your LOG training and diet now so we can adjust it before you jump on self TRT

self trt is the right choice I love test trt feels great
but you need to start a training diet log and start writing things so we can prep for the self trt

good to see you on EVO planning TRT smart move bro
+LOG ASAP so we can see where you're at but you can start 100mgs test now

Sorry had a long day with workout and finishing a couple jobs. Thanks to everyone for the replies, tons of great info

Sounds like my eating needs to get in order first.

So I'm going to start there.

I'll look at ordering as well.

I'll def make a journal, I usually use watch to record weight and cardio workouts.

Since I want this for lifestyle change I just want to make sure it is sustainable for long haul from trt, diet, workout, and logs.
