Introduction:
I have been asked to review and log Semaglutide from @ZenithHealth. I was offered a 10% discount on all future orders but to be honest I would've done it for free. @ZenithHealth has been extremely helpful; explaining what to do and how to go about it and replies extremely fast via evolutionary.org DM. I will be referring to @ZenithHealth as ZH and Semaglutide as Sema from here on.
The Semaglutide comes in a vial but you need to add Bacteriostatic Water which I acquired via an instruction thread ZH had posted, this part was very easy. As per instructions I injected below the navel with Insulin needles I already had and have been doing so every day.
I need to add that I am overweight, suffer from Alcoholism and the reason I mention it is because I have read online that Semaglutide can obviously help with weight management but its also been reported to help with Alcoholism.
I am 6' (182.88cm) and currently 240lb (109kg) and between the age of 35 and 40 and I generally have a decent diet but I pretty much gain 1kg per year as I get older, my drinking consists pretty much of managing to stay sober from Monday to Wednesday, my wife works nights on Thursday, Friday and every second Saturday and Sunday, I drink on the nights she is not home as I have been to rehab twice and cant seem to get the monkey off my back.
I work an office job, my day consists of a 45 minute drive (sitting, duh) then in the office for 8 hours with pretty much sitting followed by a commute home that can be an hour to 1.5hrs, when I get home I sit on the couch most the night ie. I am terribly sedentary.
I used to be a gym rat in my 20's and want to get back to be active as I fear in my older years I will lose balance and strength.
Experience:
By day 3 I can happily announce it ABSOLUTELY works, at least on the eating side of things; I would consume 3 cans of Pepsi Max (a sugar free drink in Australia) and the caffeine in it would suppress my hunger but I would usually feel very hungry by 1500. As I am typing this at 1600 I am not hungry at all, there is a vague feeling hunger but its easily ignorable. I am drinking though (thursday night) but I seem to not be enjoying as I normally do, I can still drink but its more of task.
I will literally have to force myself to eat tonight because If I dont my hangover will be way worse tomorrow whilst at work.
You dont need to read the following as it doesnt really relate to the 'experiment/log'
The Alcoholism:
Probably less interesting but I think it needs to be said; I have attended Rehab twice, after my second time I managed to stay sober for 9 months attending AA 3-4 times a week, this worked well but as anyone with addiction may know, your addiction is sitting in your mind doing push ups waiting for you to come back and when you do it is not a slow start up, you are back EXTREMELY quickly to where you were before, like you never stopped. Because I spend so much time hiding it (poorly at times) I dont drink everyday but by day 3 or 4 I cannot contain it anymore. I have tried medication and counselling and in my experience none of that works, AA is the way to go but once you leave they all know you have fallen off the wagon and you struggle to bring yourself back even though they will not judge you in anyway. My biggest problem is I am an introvert and dont like dealing with people and its worse when you have to have strangers (who mean well) getting involved in something as personal as addiction.
It will be interesting to see if this works.
