You havent been using it for very long so its likely you havent reached peak saturation yet, you are on quite a low dose as well, so every dose you do have initially does matter quite alot. Make sure you don't skip any days if you can help it!Just an observation; it 2131 at night and I was feeling peckish (this hasn't happened so far in the journey) to which I clicked "I havnt had the sema today" Unsure if its meant to revert this quickly or I am just in the early stages and having it???

A few more grams down, I am eating once a day (that's all i feel like eating) and maybe half of what I would normally eat i.e. if I was to eat maccas (which I am not eating maccas, just as an example) I would be lucky to get through half a quarter pounder and half a large fries, missus picked up a shift and I drank 3 x light beers and couldn't drink anymore (I have gone from full strength to light beer) The weight side of journey is working, the alcohol consumption side of experiment is working.
According to the Australian Heart foundation; a 6' Male should be 187.5lbs (85 kg) this is what I aiming for, I am not wanting to remain there I just want to prove to myself I can get there (I have not been that light since I was 18, so roughly 20 years), that being said I plan on hitting the weights soon so we will see where it ends up.
speaking initially to @ZenithHealth, he said he can force himself to maintain size on Sema by eating on command, its early days for me but I cant see myself physically doing this, eating has become a bit of chore.
@poopoobum so far perfectJust an observation; it 2131 at night and I was feeling peckish (this hasn't happened so far in the journey) to which I clicked "I havnt had the sema today" Unsure if its meant to revert this quickly or I am just in the early stages and having it???
@poopoobum happy to see you back updating the EVO familyView attachment 74588
Hey Everyone,
Sorry it's been awhile; 2 person office, Sheila I work with is in China for 3 weeks so I am doing 2 peoples jobs.
As you can see, I have lost 5.6kg in 16 days, the drinking situation hasnt changed but I am drinking 4 drinks on the nights I normally drink 8-12 drinks, the experiment with Ozempic FOR ME has not been successful in quitting drinking.
When you are an Alcoholic like myself, it doesn't remove the 'Mental Obsession to drink' I tried another drug Naltraxone before Ozempic and I am taking them together now since thursday (another experiment), to give you an example of the stupidity of situation; I can barely get through 2 drinks, then I might throw up a little bit but then I will sip slowly through the next 2 cans and can stop after that, anyone with a brain would stop after they had thrown up, I cant; hence the 'mental obsession to drink'.
Obviously the net positives are I am no longer consuming large amounts of alcohol, I am not waking up hung over, I am visibly slimmer, my face is slimmer which makes me happy.
Eating is kinda non existent, I eat once a day and its dinner and I might get through half if not a quarter, my favourite dish is Rare Slice Beef Pho and I can get through that but thats a soup with a ton of noodles. It amazes me ZH has said he can eat on command, I couldn't see myself doing that.
I will do a body reveal at 100kg.
Thanks to everyone for their support, I had an incident where I up'd my dose to 10 units of the Ozempic and was grossly ill, @ZenithHealth replied promptly offered advice and even checked up on me, great dude!
I am currently on 7 units.
Thanks man,@poopoobum happy to see you back updating the EVO family
5.6kgs is a great amount lost, amazing results, congrats!
For the drinking, the drug combo seems to be working well.
do you feel you can move down to 1 drink/day?
Lets try 2 drinksThanks man,
I am going to attempt 2 drinks and see if it curbs my 'seeking behavior'
@poopoobum to start well done!!! at least you're cutting down drinks bro already a startI haven't taken photos but its Sunday and I have been 102kg since I woke up yesterday. I am on half a tablet of Naltrexone (I will get the dosage the next time I get my script) per day and 10 units of the Sema, I purchase 3 drinks, 2 x 'zero carb' beers and a Hard Lemon Zero sugar, I can drink 1-1.5 of the beers and then need to to toss it and then I might get through half of the Lemon Drink. I am seeing more and more articles regarding Sema being a way to 'Help Alcoholics' In MY experience; I am still acting like an Alcoholic, I have an insatiable need to drink but the only difference is I cannot drink that much and it is starting to produce a thought pattern of "what's the point?"
It will be interesting to see if continued 'involuntary semi abstinence' will continue the "what's the point?" thought process as the longer you are away from using; you will create new habits and though processes and staying sober will be a lot easier.
Eating is pretty abysmal, not that I eat Maccas often but I had to sum up what I can eat in an average meal of any food it would be half a quater pounder and half the fries, some times even less, I find greasier food is a lot harder to eat, soups and/or noodle soups go down well, Plain rice is a good too.
So the take away or TLDR is: Drinking roughly 1.5ish drinks a day (down from 8-12), losing weight consistently but eating is pretty bad.
Great reduction in overall calorie and alcohol intake!I haven't taken photos but its Sunday and I have been 102kg since I woke up yesterday. For sure this will take time but I think @poopoobum can do it.Great reduction in overall calorie and alcohol intake!
I think because you have built up such a consistent habit of drinking over such a long period of time, that it will take quite some effort and abit of time to completely break it, once you get down to 0 drinks per day for a few weeks I do believe it will get easier, the good news is it sounds like you arent enjoying the drinks very much at all, so it does become easier to kick the habit over time if you are not only not enjoying the taste, but also not even enjoying the experience!
Great work on hitting 0 drinks! Your body and mind will definitely thank you!Good News and Bad News (maybe?)
I didn't drink for the last 2 days because in my mind I was able to say to myself "Whats the point" I am getting nothing from Alcohol anymore, I cant drink enough to get a buzz. It seems the Naltrexone and the Ozempic together is making a dent?
The Bad news (if you can call it that) is that at 10 Units (which Im sure ZH will chime in) I am getting hungry again, I can only eat small meals but its seems my body is wanting more of it. A frozen lean cuisine Spaghetti (or frozen meal equivalent in any variety) seems to be the sweet spot on meal size. I have been eating more and I am too scared to look at the scale (I will check tomorrow) I will probably need to count calories again and maybe limit my self to 1000 cals a day to get keep the progress up.
If you can remember only a week ago I was saying I cant see myself eating (to which I was a little worried about once I got to light) but now its becoming easier.
@LevButlerov has been persistent with telling me to exercise and my coworker is finally back from China so I am going to try and do that tomorrow morning. (Thanks Lev)
Interesting ride thus far!
WOW! amazing @poopoobum bro EVO family proud of you, big love and supportGood News and Bad News (maybe?)
