I tore my right shoulder 10 years ago… was on a tren run and hitting crazy PRs. my pt said I would never lift heavy again or else I risked a serious tear which would be a problem. so I had to avoid going heavy. . Recently I started upping the weights again and can tell the injury is still there. But as long as I don’t go too heavy no issues. I don’t mess with anything overhead or incline which puts too much pressure on shoulders. You can still enjoy this without going heavy and it’s been better for me and my joints feel great
