T3 Cycles and PCT questions

Hello N2BM Community,

I've done some research from forum to forum reading what others say about T3 usage but nothing that satisfies my curiosity. Most information is inconclusive and outdated where I'm hoping experienced folks and professionals can chime in on the topics below.

1. Does T3 really shut your thyroid down permanently?
If so explain, if not explain

2. Is it true that the thyroid and TSH levels do not recover to the same efficiency/level before T3 usage?

3. Is test prop or anavar more ideal while on T3 to stay hard and spare muscle loss?

4. Will 12.5mcg/day shut you down or work in conjunction with your natural levels

5. Is anything above 50mcg/day too catabolic for most folks?

6. Reviews for N2BM/Ruthless T3 PCT products
Does it help the thyroid recover faster or is it worthless because T3 will shut the thyroid down permanently?

7. Experiences from those who has used T3 in the past successfully

Hello N2BM Community,

I've done some research from forum to forum reading what others say about T3 usage but nothing that satisfies my curiosity. Most information is inconclusive and outdated where I'm hoping experienced folks and professionals can chime in on the topics below.

7. Experiences from those who has used T3 in the past successfully

1. It can. T3 (or T4, for that matter) is to your natural thyroid hormones, just as injectable testosterone would be for test levels. Bringing in an exogenous source always carries the risk of shut down and can hinder recovery.

2. I don't know about what levels would look like afterward if you handled things properly to bring them up. I don't know for sure, but I imagine iodine and some other supps like selenium, tyrosine, etc. would help restore natural levels. To me, it's just risky, though.

3. If you're attempting to preserve muscle, I would think test would be the king there, but either of those will work to some extent and a combination obviously would, as well.

4. This is just one of those things that varies from person to person. A low dose of T3 isn't like taking a test booster, though; it's still playing with exogenous hormone. Think of it this way: say 25mcg/day is a standard dose; your 12.5mcg/day dosing would be on par with shooting 250mg test/week instead of 500mg/week that most people would do on a cycle. It's still enough to hurt natural production. The other thing to remember/keep in mind is that the body's natural amount of T3 is actually very low. Don't quote me on the numbers, but it's something like 93% of your body's thyroid hormones are T4 and only 7% is the active T3. Then there are more conversions in the intestines, receptor sites, etc. But the take-away here is that adding T3 always carries some risk.

5. I've talked to guys who have said that even 50 or 75mcg on 500mg/week of test have felt weak/deflated, etc. Again, this is going to be an individualistic result/experience. No cookie cutter answer is really available; just the "well, most of the time, X."

6. It definitely has the ingredients you'd want to enhance thyroid health and natural production. But what I can't answer you is if it would be any different than treating a test cycle's PCT with just an OTC booster and not a SERM. The flip-side of that, though, is that there is nothing out there that's stronger/better for thyroid health that I'm aware of. So if you want to risk running T3, using that product (and possibly some more iodine) would be a good route.

7. I have Hashimoto's and am hypothyroid because of it. I'm on a prescription of 137mcg T4 and 25mcg T3. So my experiences aren't like those with a normal thyroid cycling it, but I do have fairly extensive knowledge on the subject and the compounds because of the amount of research I've done over the years.

I know tons of people use this and are fine. But to me, I just don't think it's worth it if you have a healthy thyroid. It's not worth being on pills for the rest of your life when manipulating other factors can still help the fat loss and not be potentially so catabolic, too (e.g. OTC fat burners, ephedrine, clen, AAS, etc.).

If you have more questions, feel free to post them here in this thread. I'm happy to help.
