The difference between TRT & cruising ?

Flip Digler

Advanced Cyborg Brother
Hey guys , can you explain the difference between the two , I always thought it was pretty much the same for those of us that use higher doses at times . I understand TRT is that a Dr is perscribing test to someone who's natural test is low , but in another thread I read in a post that 250mg of test is more of a cruise dose and not a TRT dose . I didn't want to high jack the thread , so here we are .

The average dosing for someone on TRT is usually around 100-150mg of either Cyp or Enan. The dosing intervals vary between weekly or fortnightly (100mg/wk or 150mg every 2nd wk). At that dosage for a male with low T levels, the T levels are brought to within an accepted range of normal levels.

Cruising is usually at 250mg/wk. At this dosage, your T levels will read back on the higher side when tested, well, at least higher than normal, but not really effective to assist much in gaining if you are a long time steroid user, more in maintaining. Guys cruise mainly for 2 reasons:
1) Their natural test levels are below normal and they could go on TRT, but feel and look better when cruising in between cycles;
2) They do not know if their natural T levels are below normal, but do not like the crash which comes once you go off cycle, so instead they just cruise between cycles on 250mg/wk.

blast and cruise are just two made up words bro. They don't exist! Bet you can't even find them in Webster's!!!

;)

TRT is generally a doctor prescribed protocol to give your body exogenous testosterone to replace what it should be naturally. Cruising is what some steroid users do between blast cycles. Basically going to a lower dose without coming off. Cruise doses can be anything from a TRT dose up to 500mg per week depending on how high the individual blasts at.

Being that it is my first cycle, I am actually looking forward to PCT to see how my body adapts. I plan on following my PCT guideline and continue to lift and ride just like I am now. Also staying on a natty booster so far felt good before cycle, feels good on cycle and I'm sure is going to also continue to feel good in PCT.

i blast/cruise bc i had low T for my age but i like to cruise around 200mg of tenth or cyp a week. i have cruised at 250 before but i honestly didn't see much of a difference and in my mind i like to think 200mg is healthier lol.

most trt guys are around 100mg- 150mg.

and like we all know it depends on how good your gear is! blood work is key

I've always viewed TRT as for dudes with naturally low T or old dudes.. a low dose of hormones to get your numbers in the middle of the range.. guys who do this aren't lifters so they don't care about muscles or whatever.. they just want to feel younger or 'normal'

blast and cruise I view as for bodybuilders, lifters, etc. who want to stay on all year or 2 years straight etc. blast lets say 1-2G of gear for 15-20 weeks and then cruise at a moderate to low dose of gear for 15-20 weeks to give your body a chance to get its lipids in line without coming off totally and having to go through pct

Trt is a dr prescribed protocol at a low dose, indefinitely. Cruising is just what bros do when they don't want to come off. Usually at higher doses than trt. Cruising is basically just a very long cycle. But more socially acceptable amongst us it seems so we made up our own name for it hahahah

the TRT commercials on TV seem to be for topical medications. I have low T but have been avoiding discussing it with my doctor because the putting this stuff on my skin every day seems like PITA. Are US doctors prescribing injections? I much rather pin then rub that mess on my body and worry about coming into contact with my wife/kids.

you can discuss these concerns with your doctor and injections are certainly an option.

Talk to a real doctor.
And yes, injections are the way to go.

My Dr is funny , he prescribes me 1 injection at 100mg every month , ok old news , so 1btl is to last a year , but he gave me 3 refills by July of this year , fuck that , I just picked up my refill and will get my other one in July . Did he think I wasn't going to refill the script ? Ha
