Saw a supplement called Uni-Vite, it has 1250% of daily vitamin B6 norms. How safe is this? arent we supposed to take 100%?

For regular people, the daily % values should be followed. For bodybuilders, there is a lot more demand for vitamins, so this is not a problem.

Sounds like a bit too much of these vitamins. However, you must also keep in mind the fact that not all of the vitamins you take in end up getting abosrbed. So perhaps they considered that fact, and added some more to make sure that enough is absorbed. For instance, Ruthless 3D (which is the best multivitamin in my humble opinion), they have less of the vitamins, but thanks to the overall formula, they get abosrbed really well, so you definitely get your vitamins.

B-vitamins are water soluble vitamins so any excess will just be excreted in your urine. It makes for expensive urine, but you can't overdose on them so toxicity isn't an issue.

Fat soluble vitamins (vitamin A, D, E and K) can be cause toxicity if over dosed so you don't want to use excessive dosages of those.

I agree with Lev though. Ruthless 3D is a great multivitamin and what I recommend. It gives you everything you need, nothing more and nothing less. It is also very affordable.

Yeah - B vits are definitely water soluble, so you're okay.

I used to take 10grams of B12 (Pantothenic Acid) when I was a teen for acne. Didn't have any issues. It was 1000's of percent over RDA, but there was actual research I'd found into it's safety

b6 is not one you want to consistantly over dose for long periods of time
