It really depends on the workload. When you train back you are indirectly training biceps and when you train chest you are indirectly training triceps and shoulders. If you kept the volume minimal you could train them every day.
I think your main point here is to work on your arms. If they are lagging behind try something different instead of the typical curls and tricep extensions. Try heavy close grip bench and pullups. See how you respond.

Im pretty certain you will cause your arms to overtrain and you will not gain any size, or even decrease them in size.

More is not always better, and this is a prime example of that fact.
