Has anyone flied with amps or vials in checked luggage? I am going from NY to LA for a few months and want to transport my gear with me. Would it be better to mail it over ?

It shouldn't be a big deal with a domestic flight if you put it in your checked luggage but they could still possibly search it. The safest way is to mail it over.

Yes. While the guys say you'll be ok why risk being pulled out at random

there are no customs travelling within the US

however they can still legally search your bag

lets say your vials get smashed and leak.. they will not put your bag on the plane and will open it up to see what is in it. and if they see steroid vials then you are breaking the law possessing them

so yeah mail them to where you are staying with signature confirmation the day before you leave.. then when you arrive there the package will come a day later and you can sign for it

One option is to wrap the vials with bubble wrap and in a leak proof bag and put them in your checked luggage. People travel with insulin and other meds in vials all the time and never get stopped. TSA is more likely to search your carry on than your checked luggage, especially for domestic flights.

Should be fine domestic aslong as you put it in your checked luggage.
